Arrival Story:
Jeanie was living on the streets and weighed only 3.1 pounds when someone saw her. They tookher to the vet, gave her fluids and got her to 6 pounds. Sadly, the people who found her were allergic, so they couldn't keep her. She came to the MaxFund Animal Adotpion Center to find a home. She stopped eating and was wasting away. So we took her home to foster. Now she is healthy and eating, so she's ready for a forever home!

Bio:
Hi, I'm a sweet little girl. Are you lonely? If so, I'm your cat! Sure, I hang out by myself sometimes, especially when I sleep. But I love to sit in laps. I'm currently in a foster home, and I love to sit on my foster daddy's lap and rub on his keyboard. When I want to come into your lap, I will gently place my paws on your leg. That is your cue to lift me into your lap. I sometimes stay for a long time or I hardly stay at all. I put up with brushing, and my fur is really soft. So I can hang in your lap while you brush me.I'm an incredibly talkative girl. Seriously, I meow a lot. So we can have nice long chats. Do you need someone to talk to? If so, I'm your girl. Well...I am kind of deaf. So I may not be able to hear you talking. But I will talk back at you.I love kisses. My foster mommy loves to kiss me, and I just put up with it. Open the window for me, and I will sit by it. Oh boy...I love fresh air! I don't like the other cats living here. So I stay mostly in one room. I occasionally venture out, but when I run into the other cats, I get scared and growl. So I need to be in a home by myself. In fact, in my perfect home, I'm the only pet, and it's a calm house. I'm tiny and deaf, so I feel pretty vulnerable. I'd be fine in a small environment like a studio or condo. If you want to meet me, please contact my foster mom. My foster parents love me and will miss me. But they bring home dying cats. Since I'm a healthy girl, I don't need them anymore. As soon as I'm adopted, they can save another cat who is sick. So please call today!
