Arrival Story: My neighbour let her female cat out and she became pregnant, Nov 26th she had four kittens but one was 1/2 the size of the others weighing only 2 oz's.
My neighbour didn't think she would live as she was so small and asked me to come over. I went over to see the kittens and told her to get milk replacement and feed her a little every few hours to make sure she got enough to eat, which she did the first 2 weeks .
Well she called me last night (Dec 30/08) and told me that the little one was not looking good and if I would mind coming over to look at her. I went over that morning and WOW she was SO tiny and thin compared to her siblings, the other kittens where running around and she was just sleeping. I picked her up and their was nothing to her, her siblings are 3 times her size and weighed a lot more then her, she was all bones and fur. The kittens are 5 weeks old and I knew by the look of her she was not going to make it if I didn't take her. The lady said she has not been given her the replacement for about 2 weeks as she was to busy, I told her I will take her and try to save her.
I went out to the pet store and got her the milk replacement and she emptied the syringe 3 times in 5 mins and fell asleep in her kennel. I don't know if she will make it but all I know is I could not just not give her a real chance, she is a fighter for something so small. I weighed her the first day I got her home she was 4 oz's the size of a new born kitten at almost 5 weeks.
I have decided that she WILL make it and I will keep her , we named her Angel for such a special little girl that was truly sent from above.
Bio: She is now 8 weeks old and she weighs 10 oz's, she has had a few scary moments when I thought she wasn't going to make it but she keeps pulling threw , she is my little fighter that's for sure. And all the love and prayers from her Catster friends and Angels has helped us more then words can express, TY.
A special Thanks to North Toronto Cat Rescue who are going to help me get Angels shot's and getting her fixed. I have worked with this rescue this past summer and they are great. I had a great day, mommy gave me some chicken for breakfast and some when she came home for my dinner. I got lots of gifts and such kind words from all you THANK YOU so very much.
The only bad part of the day was when mommy came home, she could not find me ANY WHERE. She banged my dish like always but I didnt come, she called my name and looked every where I usally sleep but she still could not find me. She was looking outside in the dark with a flash light and was in tears when she decided to pull out the couch and there I was , sleeping and ignoring every thing around me. Mommy was so happy to find me but she was alittle sore that I made her worry so much,mol but she forgave me quick. I got a few new toys ans LOTS of loving yesterday.
Thank you all so much for your kind words and gifts and for those that I have not got to yet, I will be giving out more shrimp tonight.
It is my first Birthday today and we are going to have a party.
Mommy was called into work but she said we will have treats and lots more loving after work. Thank you to all my friends who have sent me Birthday wishes and all my dear friends that have been there the past year for me as well, you all mean so much to me.
Mommy works for the city and they monitor what she can do on her Computer, she can type on Catster but not give out gifts, she said she will give shrimp to any one she cant this morning when she gets home tonight.

Tomorrow I will be one whole year old. Mommy has been working all this week but she say's she can sneak on here to celebrate and we will have a party tomorrow night at home,mol.
Mommy is having her surgery next Tuesday and then after a few days when she gets home, I am going to sleep with her and make sure she is ok like she did for me.
