Arrival Story:
Despite being the most beautiful cat in the world (my mommy says so and she speaks the truth), I was passed around from owner to owner until that last guy dumped me off in the slammer...er, I mean the local animal shelter. I sat in the joint for three weeks competing for human attention with the likes of doe-eyed little kittens before my new mommy came and rescued me. Thank Cat she did, because those people were treating me like an ANIMAL...oh wait, nevermind. But just you try sleeping in a cage and living off Purina Cat Chow; trust me, you wouldn't last a day! Now I'm living the high life. My new pawrents do everything for me, feed me the best food, play with me all the time, and are always bringing me home new treats and toys. I'm a modern-day Annie, I tells ya - but way cuter and with way more cattitude.

Bio:
We don't know Beulah's history prior to adopting her - but we can only imagine she had a hard life. When we got her, she was emaciated with an unkempt coat, had just been treated for fleas, suffered from an upper respitory infection and ringworm, and had terrible vision. After consulting with a vet about her sight, the vet informed us that her eyes were bad as a result of brain damage - probably the result of physical abuse or asphyxiation. It breaks our hearts to know someone could treat her this way, but we are making up for it by giving her the best quality of life as possible.

Picks of the Day?!? Oh my stars!

See I TOLD Mommy she needed to let me have more access to the computer while staying with daddy at Grandma and Grandpas!! Now I'm one of the lucky kitties who got pick of the day! Oh my fishsticks, that is so purrific!

I'm getting really excited over here too, by the way...we leave tomorrow for Kansas and I couldn't be happier! I get to ride in the car with grandma and grandpa while daddy drives up his car with all of the stuff mommy forgot to take to our new home. I think it will be great riding with grandma because everyone calls her the "cat whisperer" and I just know she'll make me feel all better about driving for a long time in the car. Wish me luck, furrends - looks like we're not in Nebraska, anymore!

I'm Moving to Kansas...finally!

Oh my goodness things have been SO crazy lately! My mommy left me in November to go live some place called "Wichita" and although I begged and begged to move with her, she said I had to stay with Daddy who was moving into Grandma's until he could find something in Wichita called a "job" - whatever that is. Well now Daddy got himself a job and we can finally move and be with Mommy!

Not that life hasn't been great at Grandmas - she and Grandpa spoil me so much! They give me all the treats I want, wake up early on the weekends to give me my Wellness canned food, and let me be the center of attention. But I have missed my mommy. Every time she came to visit me she afraid that I forgot about her...but I didn't, no siree! I would sleep right at her feet, demand that she play with me, and let her hold me like a baby (something I don't let ANYONE else do!).

She says in Wichita I will have so much room to run about and play, and that all the floors are concrete, so I will always stay nice and cool. She also said there are all kinds of neat things to perch on. I'm so excited I could just meow!

I'm almost done with this medicine business!

Thank CAT I am almost done with this crazy griseofulvin medicine business. I don't know who that pharmacy thinks their kidding, not all kitties like the taste of peanut butter! Not to mention daddy is a very bad shot, and has squirted that stuff all over my face rather than in my mouth where mommy says it belongs. It is making me all better though! My hair is growing back on my ear, and I am just as happy as can be. I am eating so good and my coat is looking so shiny and full! I am almost 100% healthy, it is SOOOOOO great! When I get all better my Aunt Caitlin is going to bring her new kitty, Beau Beau over so that we can meet each other and play. I am so excited to have a new friend since mommy thinks I get so lonely sometimes. She said that once she finds a breeder that she really really likes, she is going to get a kitten for me to be best friends and roommates with! Oh boy am I excited! It's about time my pawrents expanded the family - being an only kitty can be so boring!
