He could sing! He also had the ability to open doors (by standing on his hind legs and twisting doorknobs). He knew when people were coming before they arrived and was very dependable as an alarm clock. :)

Arrival Story:
Calvin was born in the area of Seattle, WA.
Although his mom has little information about his birth or kitty-family history, it is known that he came into the world as one of only two white cats of a litter. He was quickly adopted by his father, who, eventually, relinquished custody to his mommy.
Bio:
Callie was a big cat -- 36" from nose to tail, but that didn't stop him from being active! He loved to run and play and could often be caught running from objects that people couldn't see. :)
He was the caretaker of the bunch and played big brother to both his litter-mate, Hobbes and his younger brother, Rucifee. Rucifee was like a "shadow" to Callie on an almost constant basis. Their relationship had been close since Rucifee came into the house as a baby. He had some troubles digesting food and was hurting and, as much as Callie was a bit upset with the idea of a new cat in the house, he couldn't keep from running to take care his new baby brother. Always concerned, he never rested until he knew everyone was safe and sound.
Calvin passed away on April 9, 2006. He is missed by all of us.
