Things that dangle, things that rustle and catnip things! And he really digs plastic outlet covers

Favorite Nap Spot:
The couch or the wooden box or the dining room chairs - also exceptionally fond of lying on plastic grocery bags...we don't know why

Favorite Food:
Indy will eat any cat food we give him but when it's canned, he seems genuinely surprised, then dives in face first.

Indy excels at being petted. He also likes to lick and bonk his favorite people (as in anyone who pets him)

indoors

Arrival Story:
Indy showed up at our house on the 4th of July, 2004. He looked thirsty and it was beastly hot out so we fed him and gave him a bowl of water. He was very friendly - we figured he was just one of those neighborhood cats that was a professional homeless cat. He came back the next day for a few hours, then disappeared. This happened several times over the next four weeks. One day in mid-August, apparently Indy decided he was going to remain our 'porch cat.'

Bio:
UPDATE! 10/08/04: Indy's been to the vet! Check out his diary below!------------------ Indy is a lovey-dovey boy. We are convinced he was someone's abandoned pet. There's not a mean bone in his body and he seems like he's lived in a house. For the past several days, he's waltzed in the front door when we've gone out to feed him. These excursions end badly because the dog thunders up to greet him which aggravates him to no end. We also haven't gotten him neutered or vaccinated yet so we're concerned about his behavior with the Czar. The only time he vanishes is when we have decided to make a vet appointment for him. Hmmmmmm... We would love to have him safe and warm before winter comes and his vet work should be completed the last week of September or first week of October. If your hearth needs a cozy buddy, he's it! He's very gentle, has never bitten or scratched anyone and only got mad at the dog when she ran up on him. He appears to have sustained an injury to his right hind leg and was very stiff when he stood up from sleep. It seems to be better now or maybe I'm just used to how it looks. But if you have a loving indoor home for him, I know he'd appreciate it!!!

The World According to Indy

Long time no type

Well, I came on here with the hope of finding a good home. Alas, it looks like I will be wasting my cuteness and adorability on this unworthy bunch of humans. As personal attendants go, they could certainly be worse. So I can't really complain.

I have a brand new sleeping spot that I won't even share with the big ol' czar. It's got the BEST sunbeam EVER! And a view of the neighbor's house and yard so I can spy on them when they're outside.

Outside. Boy, oh boy... I don't miss that AT ALL! Every so often the czar tries to run out the door and I just think, "You are one stoopit kat, man..." I like to sniff around by the door but mostly I just like to greet everyone when they come in. You never know who might be bringing in fun stuff like food or plastic bags! Plus, the humans are just total suckers for the purring leg-rub combo.

heh heh heeeeh... It's almost too easy!

Happy holidays to everyone. My furry wish is that all critters are warm, cozy and cared for whether by people or nature.

Purrs,

Indy

Is it possible???

I just noticed that I've been waiting here for a home for over a year. Is it possible that I will be stuck with these inferior attendants for the rest of my life?

NOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo!!!! Haven't I suffered enough? First someone breaks my leg, then I get attacked by some nasty diseased evil-doer and now I have to live with poor service? Woe is me.

I'm just going to head to my new favorite shelf and pout.

See?

I'm pouting.

I'm irresistible when I pout... heh heh heh!

I've done it! At last!

Ladies and gentlemen, personal attendants of every size and shape, I am pleased to announce that I have achieved one of my lifelong goals.

I now outweigh the Czar!!! Yes! I have surpassed his royal girthiness!

I have yet to achieve his windowsill sag factor, though. But someday... sometime...

Dare to dream!!!

Come on, people... now there's even more of me to love! Hubba hubba!!!
