Arrival Story:
Chubby was not really chubby she was brought into the grooming shop I was working at during the winter time.She had been out in this winter storm we were having for days and some people let her in and tried to find her home(only for a few days). They were not able to locate her owners and the family was allergic so they brought her to us to see if we could keep her and try to find her owners.Well I took her home and put an add in the paper to see if her folks could be found.I also put up flyers and called all the pet stores,vets,boarding kennels and any other pet related business. No luck.So after 3 weeks I finally decided I would keep her and add her to my family.She was such a sweet cat.Her little voice was broken-she would try to talk and only some of what she would try to say came out.me-OW it sounded like. She had no hair on her tail and was so skinny with a swollen abdomen.her coat was very thin and was pregnant(I didn't know this until they were spaying her)So we continued with the spay-with the shape she was in it would have been a big toll on her body to have those babies plus it was already far to long under anestesia that the babies may not have lived anyway or if they did they may of had horrible birth defects from the drugs.

Bio:
Chubby had a great life and passed away in 2004 from heart disease.She was such a wonderful and sweet kitty.She would clean everyone in the house,the dogs,the other cat and even us when we would get out of the shower.She loved to carry her toys around and meow with them in her mouth. We really miss her and her other kitty friend Honi.
