Arrival Story:
Matilda was our first cat! We found her at the Humane Society in Lansing, Michigan. She was eight weeks old and had been spayed just a few days earlier, so her belly was shaved. She weighed just under two pounds and had ear mites and fleas. She was asleep before we met so we thought maybe she was a *quiet* kitten. During her first few months she developed the endearing habit of suddenly biting you after curling up in your lap.

Bio:
Matilda chirps when she sees birds and has taught the skill to her sister, Leela. She dislikes intensely visitors who comment on her weight and call her Morris. Big news! Matilda's year on kitty weight watchers caused her to lose a pound! Good job, Matilda.
