Arrival Story:
Maggie was born in a dead tree trunk across the road from our house. My husband heard her and her siblings mewing one cold crisp February morning in 1997. He looked around and found them huddled inside the tree trunk. Her mother, Matilda (a stray), brought all of them into the basement a few days later. Matilda just sort of adopted us for her family. We lost Matilda a few years ago but Maggie has stayed with us.
Bio:
Maggie passed away on October 19, 2010. I am so sad. She was a wonderful, sweet, and loving kitty. I loved her very much. I will miss her greatly. I will miss seeing her sweet face and lovely green eyes every day. I will miss her sitting with me while I rocked in my rocking chair on the porch. I will miss the feel of her soft fur as she lay over my feet. I will miss her watching the birds with me on the deck. So many things I will miss about her. She was my angel. I love her and will miss her everyday from now on.
