   Leave a treat for Jennie (6/91 - 1/08)

Nicknames:
Jennie-fur. Nenny. Nenner. Niener-niener. Nenners. Jenniiiiiiie. SoCute. Round Girl. My mother calls her 'Hobie', saying that Jennie reminds her of the large rats on the tracks at the Hoboken, New Jersey rail station.

Quick Bio:

Coloration:
Ticked

Likes:
To be in a room with me while I work during the day, with the other cats kept out. Basking in the sun. Rolling in catnip.

Pet-Peeves:
Boogie, our smallest cat and Jennie's greatest tormentor.

Favorite Toy:
The plastic strapping that comes off my Avon boxes. The dangling thing on the ceiling fan (although I have to lift her up for that one).

Favorite Nap Spot:
On the toilet seat (which has one of those carpeted seat covers). On the stairs.

Favorite Food:
Anything she can enjoy without Boogie watching her.

Skills:
She loves toilets. She'll go nap on a toilet seat before napping on anything else. I've never seen her fall off while in deep snooze. She meows back replies when you talk to her, and is a great confidant.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
I was working as a groomer for a veterinarian years ago, when someone brought in a bunch of kittens that were found in the woods. All of the kittens, but one, were adopted out. Jennie was the one that was left, and she spent her time with me in the grooming shop. I finally decided to take her home one weekend to see if my other cat would get along with her. He loved her and took her on as a little sister (until he passed away a year and a half ago). Several years after Jennie arrived, I ended up with two more cats, one of which (Boogie) has become Jennie's sort-of-archenemy. I tend to hover over Jennie now and keep her with me for much of the day, which is how she's most comfortable. She's a wonderful, unusual little cat. I love her company.

Bio:
Jennie has an overbite, and bandy legs. She is a bit odd, but a lot cute.

Forums Motto:
Jenny: Cutie, cutie, fuzzy patootie!
