 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: April 15th 1996
Likes: Eating, sleeping and playing with "the nub" toy (a broken cat toy reduced to nothing more then a small "nub" of plastic on the end of a string).

Pet-Peeves: Having his back feet touched. His owners when they sleep past 10 a.m. and miss his morning feeding...

Favorite Toy: The fabulous, fantastic - and aforementioned - "nub toy!" Not just a toy, but an obsession! My husband and I have to hide it as he will sit on top of it - day in and day out - just looking at us and meowing until we make it move.

Favorite Nap Spot: On the bed, couch or in spaces that are much too small for him to fit.

Favorite Food: Tuna juice, cat nip and kibble...plastic mice...

Skills: Has had a few "Lassie" moments where he's undoubtedly saved his "helpless humans" from certain doom...Okay, maybe it's not quite that dramatic. He did wake us up when our furnace blew up...But that was probably because I was late feeding him that morning

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: I wanted to save a cat from the pound. I had been there several times but just wasn't finding "IT." There were three rows/rooms of cat kennels...so I started up the first row...then down the second...and on to the third...all the while listening to the crazy caterwauling of some beast off in the distance (a cross between a meow/yelp/scream coming from something somewhere). I kept thinking, "man, God help the poor soul who gets stuck with that!"
I was about ready to call it another day when I located "the serial meower" in the third-from-last cat kennel. There was Henry - (the cat formerly known at the pound as "Buster") - clinging to the kennel door spread-eagle (like one of those stuffed Garfield dolls you see suction-cupped to the back of some moving car). I tickled his tummy and he stopped meowing and started to purr - like a Mack truck (everything about this guy is loud and LARGE)! What a character...so lively and spunky. So, I plunked down my $23 and paroled the prisoner...

Bio: He was adopted at a local shelter in Mesa, Arizona. We are now living in upstate New York. He's a gentle giant who loves life....even though he sleeps though most of it.
