He modeled in Vogue July 2007, accepts a harness and leash and likes to go out on my stoop in the middle of Manhattan. Very confident.

Arrival Story:
His previous family brought him to the vet in acute renal failure, having neglected a urinary tract obstruction for at least five days. The vets were so angry at this neglect, and the family's refusal to consent to surgery, that they refused to euthanize him and the family signed him over to the care of the vets. He had PU surgery, took about a mnth to recover, and then one of the vet techs who knew I had recently lost an all wh ite cat named Fifi called me to see if I would like to meet him. It was love at first sight, a match made in heaven. Gizzy was even "discovered" on my front stoop, where he happily sunned himself in the middle of NYC while on harness and leash. He was not the least bit afraid, and enjoyed the attention he got. That chance meeting led to his being in a Prada editorial shoot in Vogue magazine last July! He was euthanized last week as his renal failure had become end-stage, and his nausea was c ontrolled with reglan, but he would only drink but not eat.. I did not allow him to lose his dignity, he could walk, did not soil himself, and died peacefully in my arms surrounded by the vets and vet techs who had saved him four years ago to the month.
