Waking up her humans (First try: some gentle pats on the head. Second try if there is no reaction: her claws retract a bit into us. That usually works. )

Her dad reports: "It was a dark and stormy night, the trees were whipping around as I made my way to my door. Suddenly, an animal darted in front of me and meowed once. She kept running away and meowing in the rain. I didn't get to pet her until I started meowing, too. From then on, we've become best friends!"
