Arrival Story:
Somebody dropped me off in a cat carrier witha sign that said "Free cat" at a local farm market store in Clifton. The animal people came and got me and took care of me for a while. Then one day they put me in a carrier and took me to a safety fair so people could see me. (Probably 'cause I'm so cute!) Anyway, all day I was sitting across from my future dad. He kept coming over to pet me and talk to me. But I had to go home with those animal people. When dad brought my mom to see me, I was so happy. I sat in mom's lap and didn't want to leave. So they got me and brought me home. Mom's a sucker for cats anyway. So for the first week I lived in the main part of the house when mom and dad were home but when they went out they put me in the bathroom. But soon enough (1 week) they trusted me and I am now allowed to go anywhere I want! Well, ok, they still lock me out of the bedroom but sometimes I sneak in and mom lets me snoop around before she kicks me out. But it's cool, I have some toys and a nice bed. I get plenty of food and even treats!
Mom will sometimes open the window and let me sit on the window ledge to watch birds or nap. They *said* they named me Cinder because my dad is a firefighter, but I think it's short for Cinderella 'cause I'm a princess who was rescued by her prince charming!
Mom and dad are divorced and we moved. Onto new adventures I say!
P.S. I really love sleeping with Mom now that she lets me roam the whole house. Sometimes she kicks me off the bed, but I know she doesn't mean it, so I get right back up there!
Bio:
When mom drinks water out of her red cup I just have to go over and pull it down so I can have some. Also, whenever mom is eating something, especially junk food, I have to go over to see if I like it. I like twizzlers, cookies, french fries and vanilla ice cream. Of course mom wont let me "have" these things, she teases me by letting me taste them and then saying "ok that's enough!" I don't like peanut butter ice cream, chocolate, hamburgers and cranapple juice.
