Arrival Story:
Angel showed up at our doorstep in December of 2003 right after a huge snowstorm. She looked pregnant and acted starving, so we started feeding her out of concern. We don't know if she was pregnant then and the kittens didn't survive, but we never saw any. In the summer of 2004 she looked pregnant again, and again we weren't sure, but in August she had 3 kittens. We think they were born in early July. [note - 2 survived past kittenhood and remained feral]. She had 2 more kittens in early 2005 and we were able to adopt one of them out to our friends. Angel is so friendly and not afraid of humans (like the other feral cats out here), that I think she was a dump. We had to leave her behind when we moved to Texas, so I hope she's okay.
Bio:
Angel is EXTREMELY friendly, but not a lap cat. We would like to find a better home for her because she deserves someone who can pay more attention to her. She isn't afraid of the indoors, only wary, but she's happiest being outside. I'm also hoping that her kittens can find a good home, especially in wake of the recent tragedy.
