Arrival Story:
One night during a torrential rainstorm, I could hear a kitty screaming outside on the porch. I looked out and there was tiny Smokey. Wet, terrified, and starving he pleaded to come in. I brought the little guy inside and fed him and got him warm. He decided this was the place to be and never left. I toured the neighborhood to find his owner and was told the pregnant lady down the street had put him out when she heard about the issues of having a cat while you're pregnant. I told her that I was taking him in.

Bio:
Smokey is a living bed warmer. I have not experienced cold feet since he arrived! Smokey isn't a talker-he's meowed a few times in his life! Once Smokey was caught in a tree and was missing for 3 days. I must have walked 5 miles around the neighborhood looking for him. Thank God the dog down the street kept barking up at him or we would never have found him up so high! Shortly after that, a kitten down the street got up a tree. Smokey ran up and brought her down! He was a real hero that day!
