Arrival Story:
We had an outdoor kitty we named Junior. One day I thought he was on my balcony, but it turned out it was a little tabby/white kitty. She was so scared. When I walked outside, Junior WAS out there. He cornered her against my neighbor's door. I asked around, but no one knew where she came from. She was too clean to be one of the cat colony cats.
The neighbor came home and called her Tabby and said she belonged to a friend of his. He said she had been horribly abused as a kitty and the friend rescued her. However, the friend was moving - he had "three cats and only two carriers." So, he left her on my doorstep because I took such good care of the other neighborhood cats.
Luckily I rescued her before Junior "had his way" with her. I took her to the vet to make sure she wouldn't infect Scarlett with anything. She was healthy. From Labor Day Sept. 3 to February, I tried to adopt her to someone, but with no success. Since then, she's been a part of the family!
