She can manipulate doorknobs and carry unusually small items around in her mouth. Fetches and talks on phone. She has also made it known that she is a Democrat, as she watched "Fahrenheit 9/11" the whole way through.

Arrival Story:
Hi, my name's Adrienne. Back when I was in college, I decided I'd find myself another Siamese (Omri, my previous Siamese, died in '99). I found out that a breeder not far from here had a young female chocolate point that she couldn't keep because the poor girl made a bad mommy on her first litter and they had to spay her, thus rendering her unprofitable. I went to visit, fell in love, and took her home. She quickly (but kindly) notified Thomas that she is Alpha Cat.

Bio:
Mariposa is Spanish for "butterfly." She's pedigreed, and her daddy, Danny, is notorious on the cat show circuit for letting people dress him up in absolutely crazy costumes. I hadn't known she had so many grand champions in her past, but that's just a neat bit of trivia. I love her for the quirky, intelligent feline she is.
