I just wanted to write a quick entry as it 11th November here in Australia and on that day each year we commemorate Remembrance day. It a day to remember all the service men and women who served in all wars for Australia. If they didn't fight these wars all those years ago we wouldn't have the freedoms we do now.

So thank you to all the service men and women who fought for our freedoms and the way of life we have now. We owe and each and every one of you a huge debt of thanks.

Well said. The office where Mummy is working sent around an e-mail this morning to remind everyone to observe the silence, but at eleven o'clock you would not even have known it was Remembrance Day in there, people were just talking and answering the phone as normal - she was very saddened. Surely people can spare sixty seconds to honour those who have fought for freedom.
