Arrival Story:
There was a great saddness that fell over our household in June when death came softly for Kittylove and she crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. She was my dear friend and long time companion of twenty years and life as I knew it would never be the same. Even her death just like her was extraordinary, in a most loving bittersweet way. I will miss her every day of my life until we meet again. Things were very sad, it was the first time in so many years I could not remember back to a time when I did not have a pet. It felt that there was something very important missing, and house felt empty. My Grandmother told me when I was a little girl "A house is not a home without art, books and music." I am adding a cat to my Grandma's list and will put the cat at the top of the list. We went to the local pound and what to our wondering eyes should appear but Lilly Rose. She was so dear and sweet with my four year old granddaughter in turn my granddaughter adored her. Went back the next day and adopted her. Lilly Rose has made a our hearts smile again.

Bio:
I thought Lilly Rose had some exotic blood line in her because of the shape of her head and body but was very I was surprised to find out that she was a Fawn Abysinian. Our Vet. was surprised when I told her we had adopted her from the pound. I guess Lilly Rose is the only one who knows how she got there and she isn't telling. All cats love a good mystery. The mystery thickens... I have just made some changes in Lilly Rose's bio after having Lilly Rose spayed we were told that she is older than first thought her birthday has been moved back to February. Dr. Maureen told that she is tiny for her age. Maybe this is why she ended up at the pound. Maybe she was the runt of the litter and no one wanted to buy her. I am just so glad that she is ours.

At long last my mom got some photos of me on Catster. My mom says that she is a Luddite and not very good with all this computer stuff but she is learning and she does try hard. I am new and hope that I can make some new friends. I have enjoyed the forums as that is the only thing I could take part in till now. I sure you like to hear from you!
I was a pounding and am so happy to have found a forever home with a family who loves me. In the last month mom found out from our Vet that I am a fawn Abysinian. I went to "show and tell" at Nursery School last week and was a star, all the children petted me while I was being held by mom and I was not shy at all. I wanted to stay and play but I had to go back home. Next week I am going to have surgery so that I can't have kittens, mom says it is best for me. I heard talk about the Vet giving me a new collar to wear home. Isn't that nice a new collar wonder what it looks like? I hope it has diamonds on it. Time for a little nap.
