Kitty Miles Silverberg W. was 15 years old. He was perfectly fine, healthy, playful, apparently happy, showed no signs whatsoever of illness or trouble. One minute he was fine, the next, he darted across the room just a few feet, threw himself into the floor, writhed just a little, began gasping for air, and then died. That was on Halloween night. I'm still in shock. And so, so sad.

Oh Miles so sorry you left so unexpectedly. But glad you don't linger on in pain. SOMEthing was wrong, even if there is no proof. To Meowmy Chrys: our Meowm has found Catster to be a wonderful supportive community. If you need comfort & support during this sad time, please reach out to us "individually" or through forums. Meowm understands how upsetting it is to lose a seemingly healthy cat unexpectedly like this. Her baby (Kitty)Mouth died suddenly fur no apparent reason when he was 14 years old. Meowm still misses him but knows that she gave him a very good life, as you did with your sweet Miles. Love, Fluffy & Alex & Meowmy. Miles, Speck and I welcome you to the Rainbow Bridge. My story is very similar - mommy rushed me to the vet but by the time the test results came back it was my time to fly. My adrenal gland malfunctioned, first flooding me with adrenaline and then shutting down. My mommy held me and was able to say good-bye. I took a nap and then I found myself in a wonderful new place. She cries about me often, even though she knows I'm happy and we are waiting for her. My heart goes out to you. Ruth Flamingos and Cats on SOMC |
