Arrival Story:
Elvis was at a"kill " shelter. This one killed cats after three days if not claimed or adopted. He was on his third day and very sick when I adopted him. I was told he was a one year to year and a half female. I took him to the vet and was told he was a 12 week male. "Truffle" became "Elvis." He was hospitalized within the week and in kitty intensive care for about 8 days. All the remaining cats from the shelter were killed because the upper respiratory infection was spreading to every cat that was admitted and was not responding to normal treatment. Elvis was one of the only cats to survive the illness.

Bio:
Elvis has two adopted brothers and an adopted sister (cats), and a dog brother named Felix.

1. I like to sleep under the covers with mom!
2. I am the most picky eater in my family.
3. The people at the shelter told mom I was a one-and-a-half-year-old female when she adopted me; I was a 12-week male!
4. Mom put a St. Francis medal in my hospital crate when they weren't sure if I'd live; I started to get better within hours.
5. I seem to prefer the company of people more than my feline siblings.
6. I am very spoiled by mom.
7. If I don't like my food, I scratch all around it like I am burying poo in litter.
