Leroy Loves Life!

My first trip to the vet...

Meowmy took me to the vet today. She's been worried about me, because I ran away a while back, and when I came home, I was all skinny and puny looking. Dr. Grissom came in to see me, and he looked at my mouth, my ears, and squeezed me all over. I was a good boy, though, and didn't growl or fight or anything! Meowmy was so proud of me! He said he was concerned about the condition of my gums and the fact that I was so skinny, so he did a test to see if I have feline AIDS, or feline leukemia. After about 15 minutes, he came back and gave Meowmy a thumbs up! He said the test came back negative, so he's put me on some antibiotics, and Meowmy's going to feed me some high protein and calorie food to try to build me back up. He also made me swallow a pill that's supposed to get rid of any worms in me that might be making me so skinny. Then, when I get all better, he's going to pick my pockets! Sami had it done, and he says it's not that bad. Sami's a pretty reliable cat, so I trust him!
