Cat kibble, bonito flakes and Healthy Cat Milk Essentials treat. Snuggle time with Mom. Baskets!
A dirty litter box! Being brushed - it is just my fur so get over it!
Kitty balls to play soccer with.
Favorite Nap Spot:
Leather sofa or sherpa donut bed on the cat tree!
InnovaEvo Dry kibble for cats/kittens --- OMG, 50% protein & no grains, a girl could have seconds!
She is very sweet, meows "good morning" with great affection & loudly over and over again until Mom & Dad are up. She loves and plays with her "adopted kittens", 2 siamese brothers.
We had a mixed siamese neutered male named Frisky that we adopted from a shelter. He needed a companion when the kids started going to school all day. The vet suggested a calm sweet younger spayed female. We found Tonantzin at a shelter adoption day when she was 5 mo. old. We fell in love with her sweet snuggly nature. So did Frisky. They were constant companions until we lost him to hyperthyroidism & cancer at the age of 10 (October, 2006). She mourned his loss, meowing for him all over the house and sleeping at Mom's head every night. We went to the shelter in search of a friend and discovered 2 baby Siamese seal point brothers being fostered at the shelter after having been abandoned on Halloween. We brought them home the day after Thanksgiving 2006 and Tonan immediately began to mother them both! We all remember & miss Frisky but are grateful to have such a wonderful cat family he helps watch over from above!
Tonantzin was the only kitten from her mother's litter to look just like her. Orange cats tend to be male, not female! Her mother was a "Delta" cat that hunted mice around the delta and even fished for food. Tonantzin had her mother's beauty but not her inclination for the rugged outdoors. The shelter rescue team decided to place her at 5 mo. in the hope of securing a safe indoor life for her!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS! This is our favorite time of the year. Happy Holidays to all and peace & good will towards the entire planet! Of course, the fact that we are indoor kitties probably helps make our cheery attitude possible during the winter! If you would like to see a cheery Christmas greeting from me and my sweet brothers Che and Fidel, you can punch in the following link: www.elfyourself.com/?id=9618646179
Also, I am proud to have helped slap together a slideshow on Fidel's catster page to celebrate his first year at home! I hope I can make a slideshow for my page soon with some of my favorite pixs over the years! I will include Frisky, who lived with me through most of my life until he crossed the bridge October 2006. I would love to also put nice pixs of my sweetie Kinser from cat channel!
A special Christmas greeting goes out to our pals Koshka and Dereck in sunny Florida. We first met them on cat channel but are thrilled they joined catster soon after as they have contributed so much to life on catster. Koshka & Dereck founded the Environmentally Friendly Paws group, for green fur activists everywhere and Paws for Peace, dedicated to respect and love for all animals and humanity on the planet! Are they special or what?! And to top it all off, they make amazing videos and slideshows!!! We think they are prize winning material if ever there was. Did you see Dereck as a spider for Halloween and Koshka as a bee!?! Not to be missed!!! We feel blessed to know so many special kitties and their families on catster and on cat channel!!
Wishing you and yours a pawsome week!
p.s. I was forced to go to my senior kitty exam and annual shots yesterday. Of course I added an ounce or two just after Thanksgiving ~ how fair is that!?!! Anyway, nothing too shocking. My weight is now officially 12 lbs. and I get 1/4 cup kibble ration every day! Bah humbug with scales during the holidays! Feliz Navidad to all and a Prospero Año Nuevo!!!

We are all so happy to hear from so many cat channel friends who have dipped a paw into catster waters! We now have met up with Missy, a beautiful Florida weggie; Pawstuctaway Serengeti, a gorgeous Main Coon; Arwen, a doll approriately named after the Lord of the Rings heroine; and the happy and brilliant family of Kayla, Kelsie, Julie, Meezer, Andy & Mandella. This is in addition to the great cat channel buddies we have mentioned before: Mr. Fez, Linus & Mickey; Fabulous Miss D, Butter Lover Boomer, & Dude Kitty; and Jasper, Leonardo, Sami and Montezuma!! We're thinking there are so many of us over here now we should start a group for "Cat Channel Friends!" Somehow, we wouldn't be surprised to find even more of our friends over here now!!! This is just pawsome!!
Fidel and Che are enjoying new teaser toys!! I have my stroller! Life is good! Purrs and Peace to all the catsters in the whole planet!!!

Well, Mom did drag us all off to the vet this Monday, June 4th. At least I got to go in my own wheels. My red stroller is the bomb. Mom even got me a special sherpa blankie to line the compartment and I have a picture of my cat channel boyfriend posted in the stroller so I can meow at him whenever I want! Mom even added a picture of Kinser to my cat channel profile and you can see him at the very bottom of my 10 pictures here on catster.com! If you want to look him up on catchannel.com, Kinser's profile number is 3708! Isn't he the cat's meow! Luckily, I avoided getting put on kibble rations by our vet. She was willing to cut me some slack when the scale went down from 12 lbs. to 11.9 lbs. My brothers are getting their wet food cut back to twice a day with kibble added! They are not very happy about this but I personally only eat dry kibble. Wet food is just not my cup of catnip! The vet said my teeth are in wonderful shape and she attributed this to my lifetime of eating only kibble. The boys had lots of tartar buildup so they have to snack on greenies and transition to a kibble diet. When your kibble is InnovaEvo (50% protein, no grains!) this is not a bad thing!!
It seems even more cat channel friends are pawing their way over to catsters. Now a fellow weggie, the Fabulous D, (as in Diva Daisy and aka "Glue Girl" ) and her brother Butter Lover Boomer and cousin Dude Kitty have all become catsters!!! They are missed at cat channel but we're glad every cat knows where to find them. Besides, Miss Fabulous said she was needed more over here and she's even thinking of starting a "weggie" group!! A great group of Siamese have also joined up ~ our friends Jasper, Montezuma and Leonardo! They are all absolutely adorable and outstanding Meezers. Our Mom says Leonardo is super sexy too!! We love all our feline friends old and new.
Another sweet friend was kind enough to give me a beautiful rossette! I am all purry with appreciation for such affection and good will! Abigail, a dear sweet girl, has sent me my third rossette! Purrs to Abby and her siblings Cocoa and Jacob. Sure hope they learn to love her wonderful presence!
We hope everyone has been keeping up with the presidential debates. Democat or not, every paw counts! Our democracy demands our involvement! Remember, June is adopt a shelter pet month! We are all shelter kitties and hope more pets get happy furever homes. Purrs and Peace to all!
