Mom is a bit worried ...July 11th 2009 7:06 pm[ View A Comments (7) ] I have never been thin since I was a young kitty. In fact, I have been quite chubby! But, I lost 1 1/2 pound since I lost my dear sister Lucky. I had room to spare, so I am not skinny, but Mom is starting to worry and wonder what to do about it. She has been thinking about getting another kitty but thinks that could backfire if we don't get along. It could make things worse? or could it? She doesn't want to upset me or upset a potential new kitty. Oh, I just wish Lucky was still here.
Squirrel, you need to eat. I know you miss your sisfur, but don't worry your momma so! It's hard to know what to say about a new kitty. I know you're probably lonely, but if it's not the right kitty, it may not do you much good. But, it sounds like your momma is pretty smart and will come to the right decision for you. I'm inclined to think another kitty may be a good idea... but of course we are all different, just as the humans are and you are right, it might backfire. I'm sending you many positive thoughts and purrs. I lost weight when my beloved Albie went to the Bridge and mum had to hand feed me but I'm back to my normal weight now. I think it might be a good idea to get you a new kitty furiend and think mum's instincts will tell her which is the right one for you. Sending you lots of purrs - please eat Squirrel. Your sisfur is watching over you and she will always love you and your mommy. Maybe an extra treat would help.
