Arrival Story:
So here is the time line as mom can best guess: Year 2007 *March 8 - I escaped from the house I was living in. I was in heat and probably really loud and annoying! I have my claws cut down to the nubs, but oh well, here I go wheeeeeeeeeeeee.... *HELLO TOM!* *March 14- am:Wow, running around is fun! Having a blast, running around - whoa - what was that big thing that almost ran me over! HEY, who are you, purrrs, ankle rubs gets picked up. Where are we going? pm: (at a petstore that does not sell pets, only supplies) Where are we? What is this place? Smells like cat food! Wheeeeeee running around is fun! Visiting people of all kinds, What is that sign on the cage you are putting me in? up for adoption? (late that night some one has a dream about me) *March 15 : I followed people everywhere today, especially those that are ignoring me. (One of those people tells someone else about me after a discussion about a dream) *March 16; Some one comes in and takes me to some place new. There is another cat here, I hate her. She just looks at me and mews always sitting a couple of feet away. HISSSSSSSSSSS! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! *March 29: I guess I will be staying here, the food is good. I am really hungry these days, not sure why. Mom said something about how I should have gone into heat today. Guess I fooled her. 4/2007 Bobbie did go into heat 4 weeks after her rescue, is now spayed, has all of her shots and has been given a clean bill of health by our new vet! YEAH!!!

So, I think my new Bobbie Boo had a ragdoll parent! She will not use her claws (she does have some now) and she will not bite no matter how riled up I try to get her. She is so very gentle, with the sweetest Mew I have ever heard. My older cat Duchess chases/attacks her and she will NOT fight back. She does not have the coloring or the blue eyes (except for perhaps the shape), And the tail!?! so she cannot be a pure bred. SHe has the strangest coat - it is medium in length, but has these hairs that come out about 3 inches from her body. This morning cinched it, she went completely limp in my lap (she is learning to be more trusting).
