Arrival Story:
One fine sumer day when I was just a tiny kitten I somehow got away from my mom and siblings. It was really nippy that morning so I jumped up in the wheelwell of a work vehicle. This nice lady noticed me mewling while she was loading her work things in the car. I let her think I was really, really shy but I smelled her ham sandwich in her lunch bag and got her to feed it to me. All of it. It was soooo good I decided to stick around for more. I decided that she could live with me and provide my meals and take care of every little whim I had.

Bio:
When she was done working for the day she took me to my new home. I was shocked ... OMG, there were two DOGS there. Well, I quickly put them in their place and I was king. In truth, those two were pretty good friends but sadly the years have passed and so did they. I enjoyed one whole year of being the only child. Then one day I heard Mom come home from work and greet me as she always does with "Honey, I'm home". Before I even got a glilmpse of her, I smelled it ....DOG. Another dog! This one is a Scottish Terror and we are exactly the same size and color. Teeheehee ... a cat wannabe! He's better than the other two were!

I am blown away that I have been chosen as one of today's Diary Picks. I am a cat of few words so I am beyond thrilled to be chosen.

Life here at the bridge is purrtastic and way more than I ever dreamed. I miss my Mom and brofur Duffy but there is so much to see and do here.

Thank you once again Catster! I am amazed!

The news from the vet was not good. Seems I was in a mid stage of liver failure. Mom helped me cross the bridge at 6:10 pm this evening.

Mom held me and told me I will be missed by her and my brofur Duffy.

I survived the weekend .... now for the testing

It has now been about 9 days since I have eaten. The tube of Nutri-Cal has done a good job of keeping me going. Mom took me to the vets early in the morning so they could draw blood. Dr Harvey has to put me out to do so as it comes out of the jugular vein. Mom is to pick me up tonight. around dinner time. Dr Harvey is checking for thyroid problems or to see if something is wrong with my kidneys or liver. Mom has been worried sick all afternoon. She is fearing the worse.
