Arrival Story:
Found him, his brother and sister outside one day. Unfortunately, they were very ill. His brother died at the veterinary clinic, but Abner and his sister slowly improved. (It was constant battle!) Eventually, I decided to permanently adopt Abner, while my sister adopted Oakley, his sister.

He's very shy. He still has a lot of feral in him! He, amazingly, loves the other kitties. They all get along fabulously. Unfortunately, he was recently diagnosed with an UTI, so that's something we have to keep an eye on and keep under control. **edit** After being diagnosed with, supposedly, an UTI, Abner continued to get worse. After several trips to the vet, a new veterinarian diagnosed him with having a neurological disorder. Within months he passed away. I miss the little guy terribly and wish he would have had a better, longer life. **
