Arrival Story:
I had just gotten divorced and was feeling lonely and abandoned. A friend invited me to look at his new litter of kittens. I sat on the floor, letting the kittens romp and play around me. One orange and white tabby sat back and watched the others, not moving. When the other kitties got tired and wandered off, he walked forward, climbed in my lap and went to sleep, purring! It was love at first purr, and we have been together now for 15 years.
Bio:
Redford now has chronic kidney failure and we need to give him an IV of water every day along with an appetite stimulent pill. He likes neither, but is very good about having it done-and loves the cuddles and treats after!
When I began dating again after my divorce, he was polite to each new person, but when my husband- to- be first met him, Redford crawled on his lap and immediately became his good buddy. His instincts were right--Victor and I are now happily married!
Now that I am disabled and have many pain days, Redford always knows and on those days he will climb under the blanket and spend the day snuggling-he always helps me feel better.
Redford went to the Rainbow Bridge in July 2009. He will always be missed.
