I may need to go dunk some of my toys in the water dish now OR possibly bring meowmy a toy or two for doing her duties as my secretary (meowmy's note: yes, it's okay as Sammy can't type MOL). Don't worry, I will announce it if I bring a toy to her, it's my job in the house (meowmy: Yes, Sammy is the bringer of toys that her arranges in a row or circle for either me or his daddy). Plus, now I'll tell everyone else how famous I am now - yay!!

Lemon Dunking & Catnip Water

Meowmy has been very bad about keeping up my diary, but she said she had to write about my latest good idea (meowmy's note: Only Sammy thinks this is a good idea). You see, one of my favorite toys is my catnip lemon (from the yeowww catnip company). It's good for licking, kicking, and in general playing with. So I decided to try dunking it in my water fountain since it needed a good marinating and then I'd also have catnip flavored water (I know, good idea right?). It worked great! Well, okay, meowmy seemed not so impressed, especially when she had to clean the fountain of it's nice catnippy stain. She didn't know if the lemon would make it, but decided to dry it in the window, and guess what? It is even BETTER now! It smells soooo good, and me and my brothers have been having so much fun with it (meowmy's note: it does not look as good as it used to, but yes, seems very potent now, even Lily played with it the other day - and she never does that!)!!

So that's the lesson of the day - dunk your catnip toys in your water dish is a good idea. I tried it with my pompom too, but that was not as good (no catnip in it). PLUS meowmy is now going to order me another lemon in addition to the "marinated" one - woot woot!

The Keys are so much fun!

Wow! My first diary entry! I'm so happy to be here on catster and my mommy says I'm the cutest little lovebug! Isn't she nice? I discovered something really fun - I can stand on the dresser and reach the keys on the hooks! Yay, it's so much fun, especially when they fall behind the dresser, though mommy and daddy do not seem to agree. Oh, well, it doesn't really matter as they just scoop me up and laugh and give me hugs and kisses. Then mommy has to try to get the keys out - isn't that a fun game? Oh, and when daddy puts his shoes on, I've discovered that it's so much fun to hang off his ankles on his socks. And of course it's always fun to play what mommy calls the "trip the mama game" which involves either me, TJ, or Cougar running in front of mommy's feet while walking, especially up stairs MOL! At least I always get lots of snuggles and I love to sit on daddy's head or on his face, but he doesn't seem to like the face part - something about not being able to breathe, oh well! Off to find some more mischief to do...
