indoors Arrival Story: My last cat, Tigger, ran away after two years and I've always wanted a second one. My friend Amy told me her neighbours cat had a litter of orange tabby's, and she asked me if I wanted one, because they'd have to be put down if they didn't find a home for them. I said yes immediately but I didn't ask my mother who was reluctant because she didn't want it to ran away again. Amy brought Jefke over and I fell in love, but my mom was still reluctant at the time. After a while my mom just realised that Jefke is just like a little baby and won my mom's heart (what's not to love eh?). Bio: In the first month that I had Jefke he had the sneezles and had to be given medicine everyday. He didn't wanted to eat at first neither because he wasn't used to the food. He had the sneezles again last year (2006), just after he was given his vaccination, the vet said he must of caught him in the incubation time. Poor Jefke but he's fine now :)
I learned him to sit down and give me a paw on command, he's basically a dog, because whenever he's out of our garden I call his name and he comes flying in like Speedy Gonzales.
Jefke is trilingual! My parents talk Chinese to him and me Dutch and of course he speaks kitties! :)
Jefke is also a proud KNEADER!
Since July 2007, we've moved into another house and Jefke has been made an indoor only cat. He's adjusting quite well, he sleeps a lot and wines if everyone's gone to sleep lol. Thank you kitties for your birthday wishes! I'm 6 years old today, I can't believe it and neither can mommie. I've gained a few pounds, but overall I'm still the same silly kitty. Mom and dad are working in the new house where I'll be going. Not sure bout the dog brother yet, but as long as I have my mommie, everything will be fine!
