..well...belated birthday really...to my Aunt Becky and to our beloved Honey dog.(may she R.I.P.) Yesterday was their birthdays. Honey would have been 17 yrs old yesterday and Aunt Becky...ummm...I can't disclose her age 'cuz she'd call me naughty Jack!! *snicker*

Things have been pretty crazy around here lately,so I didn't get a chance to get online yesterday. Man,I tell ya,sometimes it seems as though it's just one darn thing after another.

Mom has been sicker than usual and she's really struggling from feeling so darn sick,but she ALWAYS makes sure that she takes care of us. She's been making pretty regular visits to her Dr. She's made some progress so that's good.

And then...our big handsome Ben has been in the hospital for the last 6 days. We don't know how,but he got an absolutely horrible urinary infection and started bleeding A LOT whenever he went potty. It came on fast and furious and he lost a significant amount of blood. Ben is in the hospital at Dr. Kevin's clinic because our regular Drs. are at the top of Mom's "list"...know what I mean? He's getting better and Dr. Kevin says that he will be fine,but he wants to keep Ben with him so that he can keep a close eye on him and make sure that Ben keeps making progress as well as he has.

As if that isn't enough,our Grandma was in a car accident and is really getting a hard time form her useless insurance company and from the insurance company that covers the guy that smashed into her car. Ugggggg. I just don't understand some people. They insist upon making things far more difficult than necessary and just generally act like the south end of a north bound horse.( my apologies to any horses that may be offended by that analogy.)

So,with all of that being said....Happy Birthday to Aunt Becky and to our sweet Honey. (who we love and miss dearly)
