Here i come!!

I'VE BEEN TAGGED!!

Here i am!! My very good friend Sterling,who looks like my lost twin and supercute and very much loved (by me,mom,Cleopatra and us all!!) Samantha,the most fashionable dog around,tagged me...so,here are five things about my wonderful self!!

1) I just LOVE the outdoors! As much as mom tries to keep me inside,she just can't! Not even being almost killed by a raccoon two months ago took that love away!!

2) I am very stressed out since my new brother Jeeg The Pest came to live with us about a year ago: i am just tolerating him,but mom gotta give up that dream of us two sleeping cheek to cheeck in front of the fireplace...he would love that,the Pest!

3) My latest food addiction is mashed potatoes...with gravy,please!!

4) I drink only from the bathtube,vases or the sink..mom puts all kind of bowls all over the house,but i don't even look at them!! I am a wild kitty at heart,and i don't drink from bowls (that's for girls,not hunters like me!!)

5) I hate car rides! When i go to the vet,i drive mom crazy with my howling..i am so loud and stressed,i always make myself throwing up in the carrier and i shake so bad!
By the time we get to the doctor,is mom who needs assistence!!!

I am a miracle cat!! Or so says the vet..

Dear Friends!
The capital F isn't a mistake...thanks to all your purrs,concern and care i made it thru the worst time of my feline life!!

You know the story..i was attacked and badly injured about two months ago,and the vet said there was no hope to save my leg and it needed to be amputated..

Mom wanted to give me a chance..i told her i wasn't giving up,if she wasn't..

So,we battled infections,a bad fever,pain and sorrow..but it wasn't easy,my friends.

For 22 days i shivered miserably with fever and pain,mom had to give me medications,injections,handfeed me,clean my waste and keep the wound on my leg clean...after all that time she almost gave up.

Then...on the 23rd day,the miracle happened!!
I started to move around a little,the fever desappeared...

Day by day i grew stronger and happier...until we went to the doctor,he took x-rays and said that it did heal a bit crooked (i do sit and run funny,now),but that he is in awe of me!!
GOOD BOY,he said!!
He also said i am a though cookie and that i sure used one of my nine lives to pull thru this mess!!

Now,i am back outside...mom hoped this big scare cured me from my love of the outdoors,but of course not!!

Even if...i do go around very little and i seem very scared of everything and everyone...i don't leave the backyard and i don't wanna be outside for more than one hour....well,it was traumatic,to say the least...

But..Grisu' The Big Hunter is back,my friends!!
