Arrival Story: Aiden was given to me by a family who was going to take him to a shelter because one of their cats had kittens. He was just a young kitten then, and grew up with me.
Bio: Aiden is an anxious, nervous little boy despite being raised with all the love and care in the world. This is why I've decided to put him up for adoption. Though, not to get rid of him, but to leave his info out there to see if there's anyone who could provide a better home than me. His anxiety has lead him to be put on the anti-depressant amitriptyline which only costs about ten dollars a month to keep him more laid back and accessible. He has a bit of a war going on with fellow family cat Kisa, which leads to a lot of stress for the both of them and I'm hoping to one day find someone who would like to keep him as an only little cat or with one other cat that he can learn to get along with. He does get along ok with one of my others, so it isn't impossible. However, I want someone close to the Jacksonville area who would be willing to learn about him and work with him carefully because he's such a stressed boy and if he became too much for you in any way, I want him to come back to me.
Last Update: I found a home for Aiden with a lady who had worked off and on in animal rescue for years. I thought it would be the perfect fit, but she didn't communicate or work with me when he failed to adapt. I tried to contact her, but she was too worried about upsetting me to let me know that things weren't working out and Aiden's health failed as a result.
