Arrival Story:
We had just lost a 13 yr. old friend, Shadow, ablack cat. We were looking for a white one, something different. Went to a farm to see ivory kittens, and this black teenage cat kept following us, even when we tried not to notice her(didn't want to get her hopes up). When we left, without a kitten, she followed us quite a distance, then sat beside van, intently looking at us, while we waited for the friend/owner to show up. She waited for 15 minutes, then followed us back to the barn. Then back to van. Owner said she'd never acted like this. I believe in letting an animal choose you, and even though she wasn't what we were looking for, she had choosen us. I am SO glad we took her. Other than being black, she is so unlike Shadow that it has never made us sad. Just complete!
Bio:
Jorja lived in a barn until we brought her home. We joke she's part goat, because she butts really hard with her head to get attention, or what she wants.
She also can't get enough fresh water. She makes me change her bowl a couple times a day.
She's a peace keeper between other cats. A true middle child. Doesn't ask too much, always glad for what she gets.
