We Moved (again)

After 5 years in Michigan my Grandma and Grandpa moved me again. I grew up in Illinois then they moved me to Michigan where I got an annoying lil brother (Jack) and lost my bestest friend Minnie. But now we are starting new, this time in Ohio, where Minnie was born. I was hoping they would leave Jack behind but he had to come along too. I guess it's ok having him here because I at least have someone o play with here in this new strange house. I love all the window sills here, we didn't have any at the old house. I sit there all day and look out on the robins and bunnies that are in MY yard. The nerve of them. This new place is nice but I still have the need to eat and the barf up the nice crunchy plants that Grandma keeps saying are de-cor-ation. Whatever that means. Well back to my sun bathing by the window.

It's my Birthday!!!

Today is my 8th Birthday!!! I am so excited for today! Mommy made me a special breakfast and gave me extra treats. Jackson is kinda jealous but his Birthday is in a few weeks so he will have his special day then. Well back to my nap on Mommy's bed.

A sad Goodbye to my pal Minnie

Minnie has been my best friend since I was just a kitten. She was my only friend untill 4 years ago when Jackson came to live with us. Even though Minnie pretended like she didn't like me I know she did. She would play "Get the Kitty" with me for hours. I am very sad to say that we lost our precious Minnie last weekend due to old age and disease. I really miss her and have been having a hard time lately. I know she is gone and I find myself sitting on her bed sniffing her collar to remind myself what she smelled like. Grandma has even noticed that I have been moping around the house since she didn't come home last friday morning. Mommy and Grandma took me outside to the garage where Minnie had been staying lately to show me that she wasn't there anymore.

Yesterday Mommy and Grandma came home and told Jack and I that Minnie was home, but I didn't see her. They came in and put a small tin box on the floor and told me it was Minnie. I smelled it and gave it tons of rubs because I could tell it was her. Now I can see Minnie whenever I want up on the shelf with her pictures around her paw print box. Grandpa said he's going to get a special picture box for her so she can be inside and her picture can be on the outside. Right now I am really trying to make Mommy, Grandma and Grandpa feel happier even though I myself am not too happy right now. I now she is happy where she is and no longer hurting and that makes me happy. I really do miss her. We all love you Minnie Girl.
