Hi Catsters!!

I just have to tell you about my latest adventure.

It all started when mom noticed me licking my back paw. She tried to look at it but I would not let her. She thought it looked like it might have some dried blood on it. It kinda worried her but I was running, jumping and playing like normal. A couple days passed and she noticed me licking it again. This time she waited until I fell asleep and got a good look at it. Sure enough there was blood in the fur around my paw pad and the pad appeared to be pinker than normal. So unlucky for me, the next morning I see my carrier sitting out. Well, I had not seen it in a while and I was a little curious. When I jumped in it to check it out, down came the lid. I was stuck, like a caged lion!
Mom proceeded to cart me off to the V-E-T!! Yikes, I was not happy about this at all. Not only did she take me there, but she left me while she went to work. I was really not happy about the whole situation. I decided I was not going to go down without a fight. I heard mom tell the lady at the front desk that I had Dr. Jeckyll and Mr Hyde tendencies and the lady wrote something on my chart letting the girls in the back know to watch out for me. Well, I decided then I was going to give it to them with both barrels. I snickered as I heard mom ask them to trim my claws. Muhahaha, I was already making my plans. The vet checked me out and found I had a pretty bad laceration on my paw. They cleaned it out and attempted to trim my claws. They were able to get the back ones clipped but I was not about to let them touch my lovely talons on my front paws. I decided to make a break for it. I broke free and tried to make my escape. If only I had known which way home was and how to get out the door. They chased me and tried to catch me, but I was going to outsmart them. Well, I thought I was. That was until Amy, the vet tech, brought out the net. Yes kitties a net. Can you believe she captured me with a net? I say that is cheating. How is a little guy supposed to escape when they have a net to drop on him?
There is a little good news in all of this, they never got my front paws clipped. They tried later, but I growled and hissed until they gave up.
I guess I won this battle and I am preparing for the next one. I overheard them telling mom she has to bring me back next week to check on my paw. I also heard Amy telling mom she would get my front paws clipped when I came back. They also gave mom some yucky stuff called antibiotics to give me. I tell you the stuff is nasty. They are going to pay for this, just you wait and see.

I gotta go now, I have to sharpen these wonderful claws of mine. I must be prepared for my next visit to the evil Vet!!

Oh before I go, I have to thank my bestest friend Joy for the cuppycake and the refreshing saucer of milk she left me. It was YUMMY!!!
And a big thank you to my Kitty God Mom Hazel Lucy for the rosette she left congratulating me on my second year of being on Catster. Silly me, I was so busy trying to escape the vet to even notice I had a new candle on my Catster cake!!!

Birthdays and Birthday Hats

First I would like to thank all my Catster friends for all my birthday wishes, rosettes and gifts. I have to be the luckiest cat in the world. I need to give a special thank you to my Bestest Friend and fellow Cuppycake Joy. Thank you Joy for a wonderful friendship and for making my birthday more special because we both share the same Birthday. I also have to send out a huge thank you to Joy's mom for the best bed I have ever had!!

Now, I do have a complaint about my big day. I had read in Joy's diary a while back that mom was going to try to put a birthday hat on me. I thought I had done a great job of avoiding having that hat put on me. Thanks for the warning Joy. But, as soon as she came home from work today, she and Grandma tag teamed me with the birthday hat. Grandma caught me sitting on my birthday bed and put the hat on me before I knew what was going on. The next thing I know, mom had that camera in my face. I showed them I wiggled and wriggled around until the hat was way on the back of my head. Mom was only able to get one picture of me and you can barely see the hat. Guess I showed her! After the torture of the birthday hat, mom was pretty good to me. I got to go out on the screened in deck and spend all afternoon watching the great outdoors. I got to go out and see my big white dog Gabby. I haven't even checked out any of the toys mom bought me for my big day, I have been too busy. Mom even tried to fix me some chicken, but I don't like anything that resembles human food. I turned my nose up at that.
I really did have a great birthday. I hope Joy had a great birthday too!!

Cuppycakes Everywhere

Hi Catsters. I am finally back. We have been gone way too long. I have missed my Catster friends. Hopefully I will be able to be on Catster more now.

You may have noticed, there are Cuppycakes all over my page. Well, it is getting close to my birthday. Not only is it my birthday, but, it is my bestest friend, Cuppycake Joy's, birthday too. May 20th is the big day. We both have Cuppycake all over our pages. Thanks to Cuppycake Joy's mom. She sure is one smart human. She fixed our pages to match for our birthday. Isn't that the best ever. Not only that, she made us both a fleece Cuppycake bed!!! It is the most comfy bed ever. I just love mine. I lay on it all the time.

Cuppycake Joy!!!

I was so upset today. Mom had planned to let me on Catster tonight to wish my good friends, Gimme and Ele', happy birthday. I thought I was going to get to go to their birthday party. But no, I did not. Mom got too busy and there were too many humans at our house. So, even though I am late, I go and wish Gimme and Ele' happy birthday. As I am checking out the Catster home page, who do I see pictured there?!?!
None other than my Bestest friend Cuppycake Joy!!!!
She was the Daily Diary Pick today. CONGRATULATIONS CUPPYCAKE JOY!!!
Oh, how excited I was to see her there one the front page of Catster.
Now that she is famous, do you think she will still want to be my bestest friend? I sure hope so. I have to go give her an official Congrats on her page.

Bad Cuppycake

I have been a very bad Cuppycake. Not on purpose, of course. You see, my mommy has been out of town working a whole lot lately. Then to beat it all, when she is home, she has been sick. Leaving me no time for Catster. The worst part is I have not been upholding my cuppycake best friend duties. I am afriad my best friend Cuppycake Joy will want to trade me in for a new best friend. I sure hope Joy will forgive me for not being around much lately, but I am thinking of her all the time. She is after all, the bestest friend a guy could have.

I would like to say I am sorry to all the rest of my Catster friends also. I am sorry I have not been able to have fun with all of you lately.

Christmas finally came!!

Mom was out of town on Christmas and I had a package waiting here from Cuppycake Joy . I couldn't wait to open it. Mom finally came home and I finally got to open my box. I got some great toys, some Kitty Kaviar, a cute Grafield mat and the cutest card. There was even a calendar for mom and one for Grandma. But, the best thing was the neat box. I sat in it for a long time and played with the pretty red tissue. I got mad when mom tried to get me out of the box to get to the stuff in the bottom. Then I got really mad when grandma's kitty Junior got in my box. Can you believe the nerve of him, it's my box not his. He final got out and I will not let him get in it again.

Thank you to Joy, my bestest friend in the whole world, for the GREAT Christmas gift!!! You know you are the most wonderful friend a cat could ever have!!!

While mom was away, she found a towel for me. It is a Terrible Towel from Pittsburgh. Grandma said it suited me because it said Terrible on it. What do you think she means by that? Just because I like wrestling with her kitties Junior and Ozzy, even when they don't want to. And, occasionally I throw temper tantrums. Okay, so I throw tantrums all the time when I don't get my way. I just don't understand why she said that.

Well, I gotta go, Junior is heading for my box. I gotta get him out of it!!

Life is not fair!!!!

It is not fair that Mom has been having to work so much. Now, she tells me she will be away from home even more in the next few weeks. It is not FAIR!!
I have had NO time on Catster. There really should be a law against this!!
Wouldn't this be considered cat abuse?

I am very sorry that I am not getting to spend quality time with my friends on Catster. Please know that I am not ignoring anycat. It is all Mom's fault!!

Once she gets all of her work done, I will be back to my normal self and will be able to get on Catster everyday. Until then, I will have to suffer. What to do in my spare time???? Maybe I should check to see how much toilet paper there is in the house. I should have plenty of time to get it all shredded. I am sure Mom would be real pleased with me!!

I want to thank my friends that sent Halloween treats to me. I noticed all the food treats were missing by the time I got to see what was in the package. I think Grover may be responsible. But, I love the toys!!

I will try to check in as often as I can and hopefully I will be back on Catster fulltime.

Now Hiring!!!

As you have noticed from my diary entry title, I am hiring. What am I hiring, you might ask. A typist!!!! Yes that is right, a typist. You see, Mom is falling down on the job as my purrsonal typist. She has been entirely too busy to keep my diary up to date. So, I am looking elsewhere for a good typist.

There have been so many things happen, I don't know if I can remember them. First, I must tell you about my Tranquility Blanket. My dear sweet Kitty God Mom, Hazel Lucy , sent me a beautiful blue on blue tranquility blanket. You can see in my pictures. She also sent me a smaller one that is pink and purple. Oh, they are so pretty. I think there is a picture of the pink and purple one on the second page of my Catster Plus Photo Album. I am not in the picture but one of my prized possessions is pictured. What did I ever do to deserve these wonderful presents. Hazel Lucy said it was because I helped her become a Super Stroller. I didn't know that was a big deal, all I did was send her my old stroller. I wasn't using it anymore.

Oh, and today 8/12, was my little God Brother Sunny's first birthday. Happy Birthday Sunny!!! Wow, he has grown into a very handsome kitty. You will have to go check his page out.

Speaking of birthdays, one of my very good friends had a birthday at the first of the month. Riley turned 3 on August 1st. You have to see his present from his Mom. It is the coolest. Riley is my best friend Joy's brother. He is one cool cat. There will soon be another birthday in their house. Their beautiful sister Pebbles will be 3 on September 1st. She has already got her birthday picture up on her page and boy is it a good one. I bet she will get a great gift too. It will be awful hard to beat Riley's though.

As for me, I have been doing quite well. I was feeling a little poorly last week but I am feeling much better now. I have found some new games that are fun to play and all you kitties might enjoy them too. Both games are played with what humans call toilet paper. One is just shreading the tp into little bitty pieces and leaving little white pieces all over the house. The other one is even more fun. I take a roll of tp and carry it to my water bowl. Then I drop it right in. After it gets good and soaked, you take your paw and scratch at it. It comes off in little wet pieces that you can hide all over the house. You've gotta try these games. You will find they are loads of fun!!

Well that is all I can remember for now. Maybe when I get my new typist, I can write more often.

My Fur!!

What is happening to my fur?

When I was just a wee little kit, I had beautiful long fur. When I got a little older, my fur got a little shorter, but it was still pretty long. Now, my fur seems to be shrinking. I look like a short haired cat. Why, why me. I want my beautiful long fur back. Mom keeps telling me it might come back. She said my big brother Grover did the same thing. I want to know for sure my beautiful long fur will return. But, in the mean time, I still have my bushy tail. At least it did not disappear. That would be the worse thing that could happen. I love to chase my tail. If it were not fluffy, I don't think I would have as much fun when I caught it.

I am sure some of you kitties know, I love Hello Kitty. I was so excited when Mom told me she had a surprise for me. A Hello Kitty bed!!! But, before I could even get in it the first time, look *WHO* took it over!!!! Yes, that is right, that is my Grandma's kitty Junior in the picture. I am not at all happy about this. Something must be done. It is not fair I tell you!!!!
Junior has also been bragging to my best friend *Cuppycake Joy's* little baby brother *Enzo* how he has been bopping me in the head when I get to run around at my Grandma's house. And Enzo even helped Junior name this new game: Wack-A-Dexter!!!! Can you believe that cute little fella could buddy up to a big bully like Junior. I can't.

Catching up!

Mom has been out of town a lot lately. That makes it hard for me to keep up with my Catster duties.

The last time I wrote in my diary, it was about me being sick. Well, I have been back to the vet and got a clean bill of health. My infection has cleared up!! Not only that but they could not hear my heart murmur either!!! Isn't that GREAT!!

I am not sure who Lacselur is. I feel so bad that somecat did not get their birthday wish. Did somecat have a birthday and I did not know about it? Hmmm. or did one of my friends not get what they wanted for their birthday?
Is it an orange and black cat? The worst part is they think there are going to be more troubles ahead. I hope not. I don't want anycat to be unhappy.

Then I got the rosie with just numbers. I am not sure what the numbers mean. Who could this possibly be? I don't know, but I am trying to look for you. Maybe your birthday wishes could come true after all.
