I meant to fall, I mean jump, while I was walking across the staircase banister in Not-the-Momma's house. I did not slip on the pair of shorts he left hanging on the newel. He certainly did not need to call Momma in a panic, although I'm kind of glad he did because she told him to try to lure me out of the cat condo where I was hiding by giving me an extra serving of Fancy Feast. It was yummy. But I certainly do NOT need to go to the v-e-t tomorrow. Momma's right - I don't appear to be hurt, I'm eating and running, and a trip to the vet would just be even more stress that I don't need. I'm COTW, so what I say goes, and I say forget the vet and bring me more Fancy Feast!

Bo bcat here. Momma called the vet. They have an opening at 12 if Momma needs to bring in Briana. She's acting as normal as she ever does and she even sneaked downstairs into Not-the-Momma's room when he wasn't looking. She had some time hanging off the banister before she dropped and she was able to snag something as she fell to slow herself down. Momma thinks she landed on her feet and was just shaken up. Then having Not-the-Momma freaking out just freaked out her even more. Heheh, Not-the-Momma's first thought when she fell wasn't about Briana - he was worried that Momma was going to KILL him if something happened to her little girl.

If you could spare a few purrs for the family, we could use them. Everyone is SO STRESSED out right now and tomorrow will only be worse. Momma's bathtub is being refinished tomorrow, so the boys are going to Not-the-Momma's house for a couple of days so they won't inhale the fumes. They'll be locked in the living room so they won't pester Briana, but she'll know they're there and won't be happy about it. Momma says the poor little drama queen doesn't need anymore drama.

Gld to hear you're okay, Briana! and that not-the-mom knew enough to make a phone call. He will know lots about cats by the time your visit is through!

You tell em Briana! I almost nefur go to the v-e-t unless I'm sick. I did have to go Saturday cuz I was sneezing but that was all. (I have a URI but I'm doing better!)
