My Little Maximo,

I wish I could see you again. I miss you so much, and I am so sorry we did not get to spend very much time together. If only you had not been sick, we'd still be together. I'm sorry I put you through so much that last day you were here; I should have let you go, but I was selfish and wanted to keep you with me. I know you're not sick anymore, but I still miss you terribly. I love you, Maximo, and will miss you until the day we meet again.
