Arrival Story:
I moved into an apartment near my university, and there were these kittens that hung around (I think they were born there). I started putting out cheap catfood for them, and it seemed that two cats were around, and they appeared to be brother and sister. My husband sat outside a lot and lured her closer and closer, until she was willing to be petted, which she ended up LOVING. After awhile, we started letting her inside, and I think she just observed the other cats' behaviors and she copied them to fit in better. We got her fixed, and I consider when I moved and took her with me her official adoption date. She's been with us ever since!
Bio:
Mouth is the queen of the house. She has no problem smacking another cat around if they are bugging her. Mouth and Kate are best friends, and the boys better watch their step! She loves to sit in her humans' laps, and sleeping on top of them. My husband named her Mouth because when she still lived outside, she would meow loudly when she saw us because she wanted us to wait for her to get down from the trees (she LOVED to climb!). Her voice carries really far. Now that she lives inside, she doesn't talk as loudly, but she talks to us.

Mouth had FOUR teeth removed today. There was the really rotten tooth that was just about to fall out, then there was a broken tooth, a tooth missing a root, and a tooth where the gum had receeded greatly. Poor girl! She's a tough cookie, and she's recovering just fine at home. The vet said she will probably lose all of her teeth eventually because she just has bad teeth. He said it won't hurt her lifestyle, since cats don't really chew their food much anyway. For now, she's got some teeth, and hopefully they won't all fall out anytime soon.

Mouth's top left molar is really rotten. She's got an appointment on Tuesday to get her tooth removed. She's got painkillers and antibiotics for now.
