Likes: Food and loves the outdoors. She is afraid of everything so she is limited
Pet-Peeves: My brushing her or bathing her and keeping her inside around the other cats
Favorite Toy: She learned to open drawers and steal hair ties. She loves hair ties, the elastic ones
Favorite Nap Spot: She has a cathouse out on the back porch. Anywhere she can hide
Favorite Food: canned fresh tuna with the juice squeezed over her Whiskas
Arrival Story: She used to be my daughter's cat but she got married and lost interest. She got her from a close friend whose kitty had kittens and the father of them is a full bred Persian. She had grown close to me anyhow and we were very close until we got Sasha, then she was very upset and did not want to stay in the house anymore. She is very sweet and loving and licks my hand. I try to bring her inside when it is cold but she plays games and makes me have to catch her. I worry about her health and her staying well from being outside all the time. I did get her fixed at least at a young age. I try to brush her and keep her from getting horrible knots as she has such long fur. Everybody comments on how beautiful she is. When she walks, she holds her tail straight up in the air as if to show off.
Bio: My husband says that she has mental problems because of not wanting to come in especially when it is freezing cold in the winter! She would rather stay outside and I bought a brand new plastic doghouse and converted it to be her "cathouse" and put rug in it and when it is freezing cold, if Lady Jane don't allow mum to catch her, mum puts a heating pad in it for her. Lady Jane will run away and not let you catch her. A kitty that refuses to be loved because she is so jealous, needs psychiatric attention and medication. She has calmed down quite a bit and allows me to catch her to bring her in. I just love to hold her and cuddle her and kiss her little nose. I tried to rehome her so she would be the only kitty and be indoors all the time. An older couple took her and they really liked her a lot except that she was very homesick and was unhappy and hid under the bed all the time. They brought her back to me and I missed her badly also so I was happy to have her back anyway. She was so happy to be home with me that she stayed indoor for nearly two weeks straight which is a big deal.
Lady Jane passed away on my birthday on an October 1st. She started having seizures. I took her to the vet and got medicine for her. She was on her way out. I hated it when she had seizures. All I could do was hold her until they were over with. The night she passed away, I could tell she was going to die. She ate really good and even cleaned herself. When she had the deadly seizure, I was not there for her. I come out at 3 am to check on her and she has passed on.
Since we moved, mom and dad do not let me go outside anymore. I don't mind it though I sit at the screen door on the sliding door and remember the good ol' days when I was young of all the outside adventures I had. I also didn't like to come in because of all the other kitties and I am still somewhat of an aloof snob to my other kitty family. Mom and Dad tell me that since I am 11 years old, that I need to stay indoors and rest and take good care of myself.
I do look forward to the Fancy Feast. We all get fed very well. Mom mixes 2 different kinds of dry cat food for us because we always love the dried Whiskas meaty chunks mixed with other stuff. Mom also gives me canned tuna juice over kitten chow. I love my food. It is very important to me and I look forward to feasting.
I love canned whiskas as well as the dry Whiskas. I also love da tuna stuff mom opens in a can and pours the juice over my dried food. I don't want another bath, that I am sure of. I think I like to have a style at the groomers. Mom clips me but she'd love to get me a fancy doo. Mom has be inside right now because of the cold and I still wanna go outside.
