What a Day!

You could have blown me over with a wave of a mousie this morning when I found out I was Diary Pick of the Day.
I still haven't caught that gopher, by the way. I think he moved out. But there are plenty other gophers to hunt around here.
Thank you to all who sent nice messages and left rosettes and special gifts on my page. This was a real treat for me today.
Thank you to Pipo and Minko for making my very pretty picture. I will keep it posted on my page furever!

Well, it's bedtime now. Time to get tucked into the garage. I will be out hunting again tomorrow. You can count on that.

Back to work

I didn't catch that gopher yesterday before it was time to go into the garage for the night. Inkspot, Scooter and I stay safe in the garage.
But I just got back on the gopher hole job. I am sniffing it out right now.
I sure hope I can catch that goofy gopher!

I am patient

The sister noticed me relaxing out by the fence. I was out there all morning. The mother checked on me when she went out to get the mail.
I am fine. There is a new gopher hole right there. I am patient.
I will get a nice, tasty gopher. Soon. He is bound to pop out of that hole and I will have him.

My Birthday is today

I sure don't come around here and meow much in my diary.
I am a busy huntress. Well, I like to roll in the dirt. It feels good.
Anyway, today I am 7 years old.

In my last entry I told about how my lip got cut, and was healing. Well, I'm happy to report that it's all better now! There's fur grown back so it's not so visible. I'll try to get my humans to take a picture and put it on here soon. Then they can pet me while they're taking pictures. ;-)

Hm, that reminds me of something else. I'm shedding a lot! Every time anyone pets me clouds of cat hair come off! Even after they brush me I shed. I did this last summer too. I guess I'm losing my winter coat, and it just keeps coming off! My brother Inkspot tells me I'm going to bald soon, but I just tell him that's silly. My coat isn't getting any thinner, I'm just losing extra hair.

Hello fellow Catsters! Pearl here with my first diary entry.
About three weeks ago, my family went camping. You can read about the trip in Zoe's (my family's little dog's) diary. Anyway, after they came home, they found that I had a wound on my face! It looked kind of like a bite from a bigger animal.
I was taken into the vet, and got some pills. Yuck! They were nasty! I still took, well, some of them.
I'm out of pills now (thankfully). You can still see some of my wound in the picture above, but it is better than it was before. Thanks for reading!
