Arrival Story: one day my brother was playing the computer next to the windows in my room. then from the window, he saw a solid black cat walking on the roof of our house. it looked like it was homeless. wanting to keep it, he opened the window and quickly pulled the cat into the room. surprised by this action, it fought him, giving many bites and scratches on the arms. but he insisted to "tame" the cat, so he gave it a meal. of course a hungry cat wouldn't resist it. once it had finished eating, it ran away. probably still scared and traumatized by what my brother did to it. surprisingly tho, it came back the next day! and so my brother and i gave it leftovers. and it kept coming back. after a few weeks, it officially became our pampered pet cat.
Bio: when i first met blacky, i thought it was a feral cat. later i found out that it used to belong to a dutch man living just a few blocks away from my house. people who knew the man told me that he had bought the cat while it was still a kitten and ever since he brought it home, it's always been a spoiled cat. apparently, he loved it so much that he carried it in his arms when he went shopping and everything. unfortunately one day he had to move to another country and for some reason he left the cat in the neighborhood without finding a new owner for it. thus, it became a street cat. it was homeless for at least 2 years until we found it. ;)

yesterday i found out that meo's former human owner used to call meo by the name blacky. so i updated meo's profile and all. from now on, it's blacky, not meo. :D
for the first time in my life, i saw meo opening the window in my room to escape. by himself! i don't know if i should be glad or disappointed. but all this time i've thought he couldn't figure out the way human things work. and this afternoon, he proved me wrong. well, good for you, meo. i guess you really are an escape artist. :)
