Unlucky in Love

It's almost Valentine's Day which makes me think of my lost CATSTER loves. First I was in love with Big Al. He actually wanted to give me an engagement ring, but I demurred not wanting to "rush" our relationship. And then, out of nowhere and totally unexpectedly, my Big Al died! Oh dear! How we all cried for him. Months later I met gentle Tangee. He was so handsome and sweet. After months of him saying I was his "girl," he disappeared from CATSTER never to be heard from again! I was alone again. But then came Milagrito. What a sweet, smart, amazing kitty he was. And he lived in San Francisco, too! We had a wonderful trip to Paris together, and he sent me flowers and the sweetest messages. But then HE died. Oh my goodness. More tears. More heartbreak. And no one to share Valentine's Day with ... again ...

That rascal, Marina, tagged me in the latest CATSTER game. I have to think of the five most annoying things my humans do and list them here. Then I have to tag five of my friends, and they have to do the same thing!

1. They let Dashy pick on me!
2. Mommy gets annoyed at me when all I try to do is give her "love bites" and knead her! Humans!!!
3. They let the Rug Rats try to comb me! Who needs a 2-year old with a cat comb?!?!
4. I'm with Dashy on this one -- Mommy and Daddy go away and let Ms. Looney Tunes stay here with us! Yes, she's the same Daffy Duck who put our litter box in the dishwasher!
5. They take me to Dr. Morris when Dashy's the one who is throwing up! Yes, those numbskulls really did that once! You'd think they could tell us apart by now!

New ARG on the Lose ...

Detective Lillian is on the case! There is a new ARG (Anonymous Rosette Giver) on the loose! I received an anonymous rosette yesterday, and my goal is to crack this case! So, ARG, all hints will be happily (and gratefully) accepted!!!! And yes, it is spring time, and I would like to play ....

Mystery Solved!

Super Sleuth Lillian has solved her first mystery!!! I figured out who the ARG is who has been sending me anonymous rosettes! Oh, I am now so proud of myself! Whoever would have thought that a little calico, born feral and orphaned at a week, would become a talented detective?!?! What an amazing world we live in!!! Such opportunity!!! How exciting!!!!!

Oh me! Oh my! What's a girl to do!?! First he (??) sent flowers, then chocolates (a GIANT boxful) and now a Mardi Gras mask. And I don't know who they are from!!! I had two hunches, but I'm not so sure about either one now. Oh please, My Dear Secret Admirer, give me a clue!! PLEASE!!!! Or better yet, take off your mask ....

Paris, cont ...

Milagrito and I are going on a final shopping trip to Galleries LaFayette so I can get some bargain designer clothes. They have a housewares department and there's a place with ceiling to wall windows with a view of Sacre Coeur. And because Milagrito is the Feline Pope in Exile, he knows all about the churches in Paris! And then I am hoping we will pick up a little pate for a picnic for two in Les Tuleries ... Champagne too maybe?

Seeing the Sights

Milagrito is such an elegant escort. We are seeing all the sights. Being the Feline Pope in Exile as he is, he explained the rose windows in Notre Dame to me, and we went to Sainte Chapelle. And who better to stroll the Left Bank with than such a knowledgeable and well-read cat? And the food markets?!?!?!? Oooooooh, I think I've gained a pound already!
