Yep its Fall

The hot hot weather we had here if finally gone until next year. Momma says now its cool enough to stay on the screen porch all day if I want to. YEAH!! I love it out there. Momma was checking on me when I was out on the screen porch this morning. I was being very still and stareing out the door. She was wondering what I was looking at so she was looking around and guess what I was staring at? A DEER!! Momma said is was a Doe and she looked thin. She walked right up to the fence. I wonder where those stupid dogs were. They usually dont let anything get near the fence. I kept staring and staring not moving a muscle. The doe was looking at me too. I have never seen anything so big before. Momma told me there are deer around but I have never seen one until today. I had an itch so I scratched it and when I looked back up the doe was gone. Momma kept remarking on how beautiful she was. I dont know if she was beautiful but she sure was mesmerizing to me.

We finally got a little bit of rain too. Momma told us all to do our best rain dance. I guess it worked somewhat.

BATH!!!!!!!

Can you believe it? That momma gave me a bath!! She told me I do a good job at keeping myself clean but I need a bath everyonce in a while. Who is she kidding? If I do a good job, why do I need the big bath? Anyways, She gave me one and my human sister helped her too. Actually it felt really good (dont let her know I said that) as its been very hot here lately. I just now feel humilated. My human sister said " now we can see just how fat you really are". FAT? ME? I am not fat at all. Momma backed me up on that. She said I look perfect. Of course, I am purfect. MOL. Oh well, enough of my rants, its time to go dry off my way.

Hot August Days

Today it is HOT HOT HOT. Suppose to be that way for at least the next bit too. I so want to go out on the screen porch but momma told me it is too hot and she will let me out there when the sun sets tonight. YEAH!! Momma got us new little mousies to play with and George keeps putting his in the food bowl. Dont know what he is thinking. Its not like its a real mousie. Momma thinks its funny though. Hope all yall kitties are staying cool in this boiling weather.

I know I havent posted anything in awhile. Sorry. I am catching up now. Since the weather has gotten warmer I spend alot of time out on the screen porch. I just love it out there. Lizards sneek on the porch and I chase them. One of these days I will catch one. They keep fakeing me out by leaving this wiggly thing momma says is their tail. Oh well, their time is near. MOL

My human sister lives with us now and its so great. She cuddles me and lets me sleep with her. I used to sleep with momma but with my 4am meowing at the top of my lungs that came to a close pretty quick. MOL I was just showing her how well I sing. I guess she didnt appreciate that too much. MOL

No more vet for me for awhile anyway. The vet gave me an allergy shot and my skin is clearing up very nice. She told my momma just to keep an eye on me and if I get another flare up to come back in for another shot. Allergies suck! I gave momma a huge attitude for taking me there. Momma and Daddy got mad at me for my attitude and told me to straighten up. I thought about it and figured I had better.
I have to figure a plan to get back at Meekah. She likes to groom me. I dont like it. Last time I tried to get away and she sat on me and held me down. How humilitating! I will have to get her soon.

12/03/06

What a week!! Momma took me to the Vet for my allergies. I got blood work done and an allergy shot. The vet said I have a slight infection in my gums too. So they gave me Baytril. Momma gave it to me and I am allergic to it. I threw up everywhere. She knows not to give that to me anymore. I was fine after I got done throwing up.

Yesturday I was sleeping under the Christmas tree with my favorite toy, my string. I was in a deep sleep, when Meekah grabbed the end of my string. Woke me up!! How dare her!! She didnt want to play, she just wanted to annoy me. It worked.

Those dumb dogs. I have been laughing at them all day. Momma let me out on the screen porch to relax today and finally the dumb dogs noticed I was there. I have been going out there almost every day for weeks and they just now notice. MOL. They were pushing each other off the steps so they can look through the glass door at me. I dont even care that they are there. I look at them and then go back to sleep. MOL dumb dogs.

What a day!! I caught a Lizard that got into the screen porch. Well I sort of did. My momma heard me meowing and came to see. She saw me there chasing a lizard. She told me to leave it alone but you know us cats cant do that. I put my paw on it and thought I had it. Momma said lizards shed their tails when chased. I went after the tail. Well it was wiggling. Momma caught the lizard and put it outside. I had fun anyway. Meekah and George both missed out. ha ha ha. I had it all to myself. Just the way I like it.

08/19/06

What a life, since the heat has broken its cooler here but not by much. Momma said the early part of the day is good for going out on the screen porch. She lets me and Meekah out there to do whatever we want. Meekah will look at the birds and try to get lizards though the glass door. Ha ha she cant get the lizard. Me, well I find the sunny spot and sprawl out. I bask and sleep. Meekah dosent stay out there very long. She wants to go in the house, so momma lets her in. Finally peace! I get the screen porch all to my self. When I finally do come in I lay in the dining room for a bit then off to my bed for my nap. Momma is great she never forgets about me out there and checks on me all the time. I never even have to ask to come in. I just sit by the door and she knows I want in. Yep, its a cats life and I love it.
