Guess What!?!?!?!

Today my momma was exchanging flowers with Hector's mom and she got to meet him and his sisfur GGMM! She told me Hector was a soft and fuzzy sweetheart! She couldn't believe how mellow he was in the car unlike me who howls as if the sky is falling! GGMM was very nice and such a beautiful gal.

She gave them some scritches and said she would say hello to me for him.

Mom also said he looked a lot like Tooney, my best bud. Such handsome orangies!

So, I have to go and howl for some cuddle time. I will write again when I get a chance. Catster time is precious and I have lots to say!

One more update

I first want to say thank you to everyone who helped me celebrate my gotcha day! Mom and I cuddled last night and she told me she was very lucky to have me.

My grandma and grandpa finally made it home at 6:30 pm last night. PHEW! Mom and I were very worried and felt so helpless. They went home and crashed. I can't imagine being awake for 36 hours!

Update and Thank you!

They are still in Detroit! They have tickets for a flight tonight. Eesh.

And I wanted to say thank you to Alfie and family for the yummy pink cupcake! It was deelicious and baked with love.

Gotta go and keep an eye on the window. I saw white stuff flying around earlier!

Crazy Stuff Going on!

Eight years ago today I met my new momma! I remember going from one warm blanket to another and then all the cuddles my new mom gave me. There was this big orange guy that kept trying to sneak a peak at me. This would later turn out to be my great bud Tooney. I snuggled at the foot of mom's bed under the covers the first night. A little freaked to be in a whole new place. Then everything changed..........

On to todays news. My grandmother and grandfather are stuck in Detroit airport and were supposed to be home last night at 6pm. Their flight was cancelled because a flight attendant didn't make it from Minnesota. They sat in a freezing cold airport for almost 24 hours and still are having problems getting on a flight home. My grandpa has a heart condition and I am very worried. Mom says she has never heard of such nonsense and will skip flying for a long time. They treat people worse than cargo!

I'll keep you updated so say a prayer they can get home safe soon!

Sad News

My mom's aunt's dog went to the rainbow bridge. He would have been 16 on Thursday. His name was Doc and he was a West Highland Terrier.

He had the best life. He spent his summers up at the lake and winters in Florida.

Doc you will be missed. Say hello to Tooney and Zeke for me!

I SAVED MOM!!!!!!!!

We were having our nightly cuddle session and mom was looking online on the catputer and I kept looking right behind her with my curious eyes. So she turned her head around and there was a spider! (Right beside her like little miss muffet, mol!)

She jumped up and screamed and I flew off! Don't worry I am okay! She got rid of the intruder and gave me some kisses and Greenies for being her savior!

If you ask me, mom is a wimp! I am glad I was able to help!

I am Famous! (At Mom's job!)

My picture is being used for a poster at mom's work. Every year they have a campaign to donate money to a huge network of places. Mom always gives money to the local shelter through this program. So when they wanted to add an animal to the poster, mom suggested they use one of my kitten photos with the adoring eyes.

So, I am glad to be helping out the animals as best I can. Mom is very proud too. She says it is fun to see my picture posted all over the building.

Summer is gone

Hello,
Just been peeking out the window and all the leaves are falling off the trees! How could summer be gone so fast? Now I have to buckle down and hibernate all winter. I HATE WINTER! Why couldn't we live in the tropics? I am so a warm climate cat.

So, my hoomin sisfer is walking now and chases me all over. She tries to poke me in the nose. Good thing I am fast or else she would be in big trouble.

I do get to go outside on my leash with mom while she naps. I have been a big help with the new flower bed. I attack any bug that comes my way. Speaking of bugs, they are all trying to come in the house. I kind of like it because I can chase them and hunt them down! Mom freaks out and screams and calls dad. Wimp!

So, I hope to go out a couple more times before it gets too cold. I hope everyone is enjoying the fall weather. Thankfully it hasn't been too cold yet. I must admit I do enjoy watching the leaves zip by the window!

Lovin' Summer

Saturday I got to go out on my leash for 3 whole hours!!! Thanks to the little hoomin for taking such a long nap. Mom and dad were spreading dirt. It looked like a nice pile of dirt to roll around if you ask me.

I hid in mom's flowers and planned my attack. As soon as the moth fluttered by I jumped out with such force I made Dad jump. Mom laughed. So did Dad, he said I was quite a jumper for such a tiny girl. I caught the moth but when I moved my paw to chomp on it, it got away. Grr. I waited and waited for that moth to come back. I got bored so I rolled in the walkway and ate some grass.

Ahh, what a great day. I hope to do it again this weekend!
