Arrival Story:
We found Yo-yo at the shelter, having been returned for a second time. He just seemed so sad, huddled to the back of the cage, hissing and lashing out at everybody, but we were sure it was more out of fear than malice. He had to be covered in a blanket to be transferred into the carrier for the walk home; and he was a hard case for the first 9 months or so. However, as the saying goes, nothing good comes without a little pain. He became an amazingly responsive cat, loving and loyal. He suffered through a host of health issues the last 2 years of life, and during an operation for a bacterial infection, his big heart just gave way and he could not be resuscitated.......
Goodbye old friend...we miss you so terribly
