On the eve of T.J.’s First Bridge Day

Where does time go
In the space of one year?
The memories, so distant
At once feel so near.
The scent of your fur,
The gaze in your eyes,
The sound of your purr…
Then I realize
That they’re only memories
Of things I hold dear
From when you were with me
At this time last year.
It’s all just a time warp.
Wherever you are
You live in my heart;
So near, yet so far.

T.J. made his journey at 1:50 PM on March 9th, 2010.

TJ, we're sorry we missed your Bridge day but we know you were surrounded by all your loving angel friends.

We love the poem your momcat wrote, we know how much she misses you - as much as she loves you, and that is a LOT!!

Loving purrs,

Dear Aggie, Maggie, and Da Claw:

Thank you so much for sending me a note! I know I'm worthy. I always was. *Purr-smiling* It really was nice to hear from you. I know it helps Sooma when she know other kitties and momcats are thinking of us. I'm glad you liked the poem. I sent it to Sooma the night before my Bridge Day anniversary. She knew it came from me because I sent her one last year on March 8th too, the night before I started my journey! Plus, she knows it was from me because I woke her up two times to help her write it. She went back to sleep before I was finished. Typical Momcat Sooma. She sure loves to sleep!

Speaking of my journey last year; one of the first Bridge Kids I met was your big brother, Ralphie. Wow! Is he ever funny. He greeted me with a Grape Pop and then taunted me into chasing him around to prove to me how young I was. I couldn't believe I could walk a straight line, much less run like the wind! Ralphie ran me right over to Buddy and Bingo. Bingo is amazing. Buddy adores Ralphie, by the way. He always did like dogs way better than I did. But as dogs go, Ralphie is the kittiest dog I've ever seen!

Well, I have to run now, but I wanted to thank you for the cool message. It made two of us smile really big today. Sending angel purrs your way!

Love, T.J.
