Arrival Story:
Calli (Gremlini's Birth Mother) showed up at our house on July 4th of 2004. She was extemely sickly and skinny looking. We didn't even have any idea that Calli gave birth to kittens until my brother followed Calli around to the next-door-neighbor's old chicken coop (It's an eyesore, might I add). My brother took a peek inside the coop to see what Calli was doing. Inside were four teeny, tiny kittens; they hadn't even opened their eyes yet. Extremely long story in a nutshell; Kiwi & Gremlin were the survivors out of the litter.
