Blixa went to the Rainbow Bridge this afternoon after a short illness. His body was no longer able to hang in there, he was severly dehydrated and anemic and had elevated calcium levels. He's now happy and healthy playing with his pals at the Bridge.

He was such a loving cat (at least to his mommy) when he was alive, but a terror to all others. He had all the vet techs frightened of him and even had the "bad cat" notation in his vet records. I couldn't convince them that at home he would curl up in my lap and give me the kitten meow. He was quite imposing at 17 lbs though, so I can understand their apprehension.

Blixa you are dearly missed! I love you baby

Blixa-I will miss you furever. You became my friend many years ago and although you are a cat and I am a dog, it surely didn't matter, did it? Just goes to show that friends come in all sizes and all species.

I am glad you are healthy and well again and I sure hope you are enjoying meeting new pals at the Bridge.

I will always love you.
