My illness

Well mom and dad dug out the green little carrier tonight and you know what that means; off to the doc we go. I meowed the whole way to the Vet's house. We got out and there was a wrinkled up dog in the waiting room with me. I wasn't too sure what to think but it was pretty young and didn't look too mean. Anyway, we went in and this lady got me out of the cage I was in and held me down while the doctor put something up my butt; how humiliating. It turns out my fever is 103.9 and I have some virus. I got two shots and some yukky pink stuff to take for a few days. Hopfully, I will start to feel better in a couple days or I will have to go back. She said that I have an arrythmia to. She thinks that it is from me being so scared. I will keep you posted and thanks for o many purrs, I feel all the purrs coming in and I love you all so much.

I need purrs

Hello everyone. I am sick right now and mom is scared. We had alot of fleas and we never had them before. Mom put some flea powder on me and it made me sick. She is really scared. I just lay around and won't eat or drink. We have no vets on the weekends and mom is really upset. Please purr for me to get better real soon.

Pen Paws Card Exchange

Well, mom did it, she has participated in another Pen Paws Group card exchange. What a great group; we exchanged funny cards recently and we have participated in postcard exchanges. The only thing is that dad says that mom has finally lost it; buying cards for cats??? I don't see anything wrong with buying cards for other Catster cats. From a cat's point of view, having our human beans do these tasks for us is very thoughtful and I don't think that mom has lost it. We both hope that all of our funny cat card recipients enjoy their cards that we have sent to them. Many purrs and meows to all our Catster friends.

Ice Cream Tag

I have been tagged to play the ice cream tag game by Louis LeBeau! One of the games is to name my favorite Ice Cream and I love ice cream because it is so much like milk. OK will pick Vanilla just like Louis because I think is tastes the closest to milk. The 2nd part of this tag is to name a flavor of ice cream that best suits us. I choose Orange , like Louis, Cream Dream. I am orange, also have white like a cream color. This flavor, mentioned by Louis, sounds just like me to. I don't mean to copy Louis but this sounds like it suits me to as I am an Orangie also.

My Birthday

Hi Catster friends,

I had a wonderful birthday. So many of my furriends contacted me to wish me a Happy Birthday. I don't feel any older but I do get lots of rest so I am preserving my youth; as cats should. I sent as many BBQ grills to my furriends until I ran out of zealies. They are enjoying them making their favorite feline dishes. I overheard mom mention kabobs this weekend including shrimp and beef.

My mommy, Kitty Kat, has been outside enjoying the nice weather and spending time with mom by the fire pit. Our Spring has been filled with many many songbirds and I say, bring on the songbirds, because we love to watch them from the font windows of the house.

I hope that all of my Catster furriemds and "to be Catster furriends" having a great beginning of summer.

It is Catsmouse Day!!

Hi everyone, Reeses here and boy did I get catnip for Christmas. Mom said that the Santa Cat brought me two stockings and they were clear full of toys and catnip. I can put up with wearing the Santa hat if I can have catnip. My sister, Lilly, got a little mean Christmas Eve with the catnip. She had her nose shoved right into the box that the catnip came in and she growled everyone so we would take her box. MOL. I have been playing with the little cat balls that came in our stockings; they are so much fun. I hope all of my friends got wonderful Christmas gifts to play with also. Hope you have a great Catsmouse!!!!!

Good News about my mommy cat Kitty

I have to tell all of my Catster friends about my feline mom, Kitty. Today was the first day that she used a litter pan. Now I know that doesn't seem like a big deal, but my mom has always been an outside kitty kat and when we moved in October, she kept going back home so mom kept worrying that she was gonna get hit by a car so we left her in the house with us from time to time until she eventually began to stay at home all the time. However, when she was in the house, we had to keep a watchful eye on her because she has never been litter trained because mom said that she found her in the back yard at our other house, before I was born of course. Mom noticed that Kitty kept going to the bathroom, in the bathroom, on a towel by the tub so she decided to try and put a small litter pan there with a thin layer of litter in it to see what Kitty would do. Well, today she went into the bathroom and used that litter pan instead of the towel. I am so glad that mommy did this because now maybe she can be inside more often without worrying where she is all the time and I won't have to see my human mom worry so much about her outside when it is cold.

New Year

Well, I made it through the New Year and still am trying to keep up with Snick. She is very busy. I have been dragging alot of Q-tips out of the garbage can so that keeps mom busy picking them up as I love to play with them and she doesn't mind at all. My feline mom, Kitty, has been staying home more lately and we are relieved that she isn't crossing the road as much going back to the other house. The house we moved into is nice because I get to sleep with where ever I want to at night. I had to sleep in the family room at the other house, but now I can pick whatever bed I want and fall asleep. Of course, I am an expert at sleeping. Other than that, not much else going on. My friend Klemy Q-tip is having a difficult time with another member of his family being ill and I am purring for him. Many meows to you Klemy!!!!

New Year's Eve

Well we have reached New Year's Eve. It has been a difficult December for us Catsters. We lost our beloved Kitty, Klemy Q-tip's sister, and most recently we lost, Ruby. It is so sad to see our catster friends cross the rainbow bridge and leave their grieving mom and dad's behind, as well as, the other furry members of the family. Our friends are in kitty heaven now and we will never forget them and always love them. I just wish every human would realize how special a kitty is and how much joy that a kitty can bring to a person's life. Dogs are the same to humans as well. I hope that all kitties out there have a better New Year than the previous one and all of us Catster kitties are so glad that we have wonderful Catster families to love us and spoil us. Dishwasher mouse

Well, the infamous dishwasher mouse was caught on Friday of last week. I heard mom say that she had her money on Snicker and not me because I didn't leave the bed all day. MOL. Well she is probably correct because I don't pay any attention to mice. I did worry myself alot about the dishwasher mouse but I don't feel much like catching them. They don't hurt anything. MOL. I just joined my best buddies group called Chipmunk Posse and I am looking forward to mom telling me what is on the groups site. Anyway, just wanted my feline friends to know that Snicker was successful in catching the dishwasher mouse. We will keep you updated on any new leads from our mouse hunts in the future. Dishwasher mouse hunting

Well, after days of hunting for mice under the dishwasher, we finally hit the jackpot. About two months ago, we found a mouse and mom didn't know which one of us killed it, but it came from underneath the dishwasher. Mom was laughing at me and Snick staring at the dishwasher for days at a time. We would just sit there day after day and stare at the dishwasher; she thought we were crazy. Then finally one morning our kill was laying in the middle of the kitchen floor. We proved that we were not going crazy after all. Last week we did it again. For the past few weeks we have been stalking the dishwasher and mom even got down on the floor with the flashlight looking under it trying to see if she could see anything under there. Snicker would get up on the stool and I would sit off to the side, that seemed to be the best strategy as the mouse would not see us as easily, if one would come out from under it, we could pounce right away from either direction. The other morning, and I am not telling who did it, but dad found a chewed up furry body down by the dryer that had been vomited up. So it proves that we had another catch to be proud of. Not that mom is proud of this feat; she said YUK. Since I am the infamous vomiter of the house, the chances are looking at me being the culprit, but I am not telling. We are still stalking the dishwasher because we are bound and determined to catch another one from under there. This seems to be fun for us, so this must be something that cats like to do I guess. I wouldn't know since I never got to do this before. MOL. Oh well, all in a day of the life of Reeses.

Mouse adventure

One morning about a month ago my "dad" got up for work and noticed that me, Snick, and Lilly were all sitting in a circle looking like we all had done something wrong. Well, dad didn't pay much attention other than he told mom that we all looked like we had a guilty look on our faces sitting in a circle. Once again, dad comes downstairs to see what was up and then he noticed we were circled around a dead mouse. We caught this mouse in our house and then we didn't know what to do with it. I have never seen a real mouse and I don't think my sisters knew what it was either. We were only playing with him; we didn't mean to hurt him but I guess that is what cats are supposed to do. As for me, I am not into catching mice. I think I will stick with the fake kind.

New camara

Well, mom got a new camara. You know what that means. Click, click, click at the ol Reese. I don't mind cause I am a "ham". I am a good portait subject, I don't move much. So, for the next few weeks, I have to endure the torture of photography. I must say, I am a handsome specimen of a cat if I don't say so myself.

My Orange Tabby Group

Well, my mom wanted me to administrate a Caster Group. We did this, and it is growing very well. We have 17 members so far. What a great group of feline lovers. We love dogs too, so I am glad there are canines as well interested. We have one of those canine creatures here at our home. Her name is Ginger and she is a Chocolate Lab. Mom needs to take a picture of her for Dogster. My other canine brother, Domino, passed away right before Christmas from a mysterious illness. He just got sick and mom was very sad. The weather has been nice here in Pennsylvania these past few days. My sister snuck outside and she was out there today for about an hour. I don't understand why she wants out there because it scares me. Well, time to close for now. Good evening to all of my friends.

Impostor Reese

Okay mom humiliated me again with that cat she came home with. It looks like me so she went crazy taking pictures of me and "him". He is called impostor Reese and I am the Real Reese. See my new pictures on my page and let me know if you like them. I love the camara so I guess that means I am a HAM.

Cat fight

Today while my mom was getting ready for work, my sister, Snick, decided to lay down on the computer desk. Well, I wanted to join her but the closer I got the meaner she sounded until she was showing her teeth, I don't think she wanted me up there. I crawled up anyway and got swated at but finally she gave in and let me up with her. I just sat and gave her the "stare" until she backed down. My stare always works here because I am the only male in the house. Those female cats don't have a chance even though they were there before me I am king of the house and no one sleeps with my Jason, only me. Well I better get some sleep; I like my laundry basket as much as my couch.
